You have some killer strains dude. What does the MNS stand for?

Edit: Mr Nice Seed
Thanks man, and yep Mr nice seedbank. Looking forward to running the SSH, may or may not be next lol. Still undecided.
Kind of thinking I may run my bagseed and first pollen chucking attempt first. 1 because I am super curious to see what I may find and 2 to get a bit more practice and not waste the good money I paid for that mns gear. I've really started to understand organics, and horticulture in general over the last month or two so I am confident, but still.

Organic can be difficult. One of the things to think about is starting with a well balanced organic mix. Maybe starting out with a Subcool "super soil" type of base?
Hey man thanks for dropping in,

I've been preparing to do it right. I've currently got about 100L of mix cooking.

Base is equal parts ewc, bagged mix and perlite.

Amendments:
0.5 cupneem cake
0.5 cup fish bone meal
0.5 cup crab meal
0.5 cup alfalfa meal
0.5 cup kelp meal
0.5 cup dolomite lime
1.5 cup glacial rock dust
1 cup greensand
0.5 cup pelletized gypsum

This will cook over two months, I've got some shit on the go right now.

This is what they call the Coots mix.

Any comments are welcome brother!

On page 1..is that a long thin heater? U growing in out building? Is it cold? I only say this as i was growing organic in a shed and added heater. Ontario (where i am) was dry in december and my dec 21st harvest for two plants was equal to my previous 1 plant harvested November.
There is a place in windsor (if u are near) that sell nightcrawler worms and sells ewc cheap. I bought 2 garbage cans filled (almost couldn't lift it) for $5. Good for outdoor too. They load pickup trucks also.

Hey man thanks for the comment always nice to see another canadian.
The long thing thing is just an oscillating fan if you're looking at what I think you are, they just have a nice small footprint. I'm growing in a tent in my basement so environment isn't much of a problem. Hooking up a small space heater would use more power than the rest of my grow lol. I know because I've flirted with that idea. I grow with led and have to keep my exhaust fan on minimum just to keep temps above 72f.
I have to move over the month of April though and may end up growing in an unconditioned attic though so I may end up picking your brain for ideas if it comes to that. Although I will try to avoid that at all costs. Just that my new basement is only 6' and may be prone to flooding! Sounds like a hazard waiting to happen to me!
And that deal on the worms/ewc is mint. I'm closer to Ottawa though, withing an hour of it so Windsor is too far for me.
I do have a worm farm going with an abundance of red wigglers who seem to be just fucking thriving.

I was looking at the coots also.. I read TLO growing ver1 from the rev. Have u read it? If u want ebook let me know..

I did organic with not as much amendments..it just seemed like lots to buy for 1st run.. I supplemented mid flower with flower ferts..did ok but u are nailing it with your mix. How is the water quality up there?

That's a mint idea, extra light with the heat!

Honestly I've never had gnats so I don't worry about it, I'm sure my mix has enough silica I'm it but u have been thinking about adding sand.

I like the Coots mix because it's not as much to buy as the revs or subs ways. The Coots mix is adaptable, things can be swapped out and it still works. It's also got enough of a following that there's always people who can offer advice when needed.
I have the revs book, not sure what edition but it has some great knowledge in there. I don't like the layering and spikes shit though.
And thx brother had a lot of problems this run, wasn't a proper soil mix they were in. Still will get a bit of a harvest though.
My next run will be on point I am sure though, just waiting for my ewc to finish up. Probably about 2 months till I can harvest SOMETHING.

I read good things about SSH. Long flowering? 10 weeks? I have some swazi gold seeds i might pop in summer. SSH is an epic strain so u will definitely be happy.

U insulate the bottom of container when cooking it? I have a batch cooking in a unheated garage..will have to wait. Pollen chucking..thinking about pollen chucking my c99 (f2) from hemp depot. Bag seeds working fine.. I have a friend with 20yr old thai stick seeds..not sure on viability..only one way to find out..

I've never grown and Mr nice gear before so I'm excited for the SSH. Prob be a ten to twelve week flower for most of them. Got fifteen seeds will probably pop ten for that run, I like to save a few when possible.
I don't really insulate the bottom, just in a huge Rubbermaid on top of a rig in the basement. Outside would be too cold.
Definitely Chuck pollen, free seeds are sweet lol and you never know what you'll find.
I chucked some pollen from a stanky bushy brothers Grimm male on to my Barney's farm Acapulco gold last year, really wanna sprout those seeds soon. Probably do those alongside my purple kush bagseed before my SSH to be honest. Curiousty gets the best of me.
Let me know on the Thai stick too if it ever pans out. That'd be awesome.
