hi everyone,

we apologize if this question has been asked or this topic covered but we couldn't find anything posted.

Does anyone have experience and feedback on the Kind XL-750 Led unit?

There is so much information and more details/info on Leds that its all too confusing.

we are looking at a 4x4 coverage area for veg n bloom.

any thoughts, suggestions much appreciated.

thanks

I use a KindLED K5 750w in a 4x4 grow tent and it works just fine for all stages of grow. It takes a little getting use to but I love mine; and my crops are going great.

You will find asking advice especially on lighting on rollitup is more confusing than not asking. You will always get those that automatically try to push their COBS on you no matter what. And trash everything else. You will not get good clean info here. Buying lighting to grow depends on several factors. What kind of grow "personal, commercial, cash crop", size of space, what are you looking for in end product, how much money do you want to invest in lighting, how often do you intend to grow crops, are you looking to get started on the cheap then upgrade as your skills improve etc.....

If you want to buy led than COBs are the way to go with very few exceptions. You just got named several good companies who sell high quality lights(unlike kind led). You are willing to spend the money on the kind so you can also afford COBs, if you can't leds aren't for you at this point in time. Nobody recommended a specific setup, that obviously depends on other factors about your grow.

No I have not tested anything. I plug it in and grow....lol....I don't intend to fight about what is better than what. What I offer is not numbers and hearsay. What I offer in my comment is an answer to his/her question specifically about the very light I use. I certainly am not going to warn someone off of a lighting system that works well for me.....lol..... My answer is based off of the K5 750W that I have hanging in my tent and has 3 strains under it. All 3 strains are doing great in week 4 of flower. I cannot speak to what is better or what is worse> I also don't warn folks off of any lighting. What doesnt work for one may work for someone else.

I'm not trying to bust your balls by any means. Just letting him/her know there are much better options for that amount of money.

hi everyone, well i guess i was a little vague on our needs. Yes, that is me from a few years back.
1) We are not worried about costs.
2) We have been growing for over 30 years so we know how to grow and have been using HPS/MH setups but are tired of the heat issues, wasted energy and want to try something more interesting in terms of lighting.
3) We grow for ourselves. Weed is now legal were we live and can have up to12 plants. Looking to do two grows of six at a time. Personal use only.
4) Space we are using is 4x8'.
5) We want the best lighting for this setup.
6) We want max yield at max potency as per the seed genetics. Not trying to re-invent the wheel. Just want to continue growing kick-ass weed.
7) Do not nor do I want to understand this stuff: PPF numbers etc.
8) We appreciate your advice and recommendations!
9) thank you and now pass that fatty over here please!
