KneeCap's 2nd Medical Card Grow...Crop 5 Apollo 13, G13, PCK, Skunk #1, WL & JF

Starting crop 5 four weeks into crop 4. So after crop 4 is ready, crop 5 will be done sometime like 4 or 5 weeks later. Crop 4 was a seed crop. The clones were started in a Bubble Cloner I built. This one here is the new one, it has 93 sites on it:



Well I planted the clones in Happy Frog / Sunshine Mix. They vegged for about 6 weeks before I planted them in the 7 gal smart pots.

That's about it for now. I planted most of this crop in Roots Organic/Sunshine/Happy Frog whatever combo I had as I have had very little time to get to the store.

check my profile for the other crops, crop 3 just got harvested, crop 4 is in week 3 of 12/12... crop 6 is up but I'm still mulling it over... purpollo 13 breeding project is jamming like a pro....

This is gonna be a long one I think... I will look at my DropShots account and try to come up with the Narrative. We know the Detroit Clones wont make it into crop 5. That much I can bet on. In fact I am putting crop 6 together over the next week. Those crops, from 6 on out, will be 12 plants each instead of the 6 I ran for 4 and 5. That is because I will legitimately have a patient plus myself. Two cycles, 6-10 week veg times, 12 plants in each room. The incidental veg plants are going to be accounted for as early as next week, so I aint even trippin. So those Detroit clones become mother plants... although I may toss a Strawberry in Crop 5 just because I can and still have a mother. I'll flower the weaker one and mother out the better one.... We are waiting on that to see if it is a KKSC.

Enough bullshit, here comes the flickage...
The Lemon Larry had the mites and shit on it, so I ditched it. This is the LA Confidential with mites on it right after I unleashed about 3K lady bugs. There was less than 100 mites visible, so this hoard of ladybugs had no problem getting rid of any sign or trace of them.

I was gonna give em 3 days, but they had the problem handled in two. Day 2 after ladybug release:

PPC and Skunk No.1 Best Pheno (Denser Colas) planted from 2 gallon plastics into 5 gallon air... in Roots Organic, light feeding of Age Old Organics Grow....

the cloner was 100%, 2 solid runs and a half run (transplanted from the old cloner)... over 120 clones were planted out of that thing in 20 days. Not bad, but with more vegitation, I think that number can easily double...

So today(6/24) is the day I should have started Crop 5, but I already finished it last night. Starting Friday, I began cloning and pruning the 6 plants going in to Crop 5, then I fed them some GO Bloom Boost, GO Biothrive Bud, and some B52 (Advanced Nutes) and tossed em into the tent. The last one was the White Lightning, which went in last night around 9. I think I will still consider today their start date for many reasons, mostly it is looking like there will be a small gap in the start date for Crop 6 because I just started them last week, so I may need to let them veg for an extra week or two at the end of it. Here are some flicks...

Tools of the trade. After cutting the cuttings, I put them in a solution of tap water and about 1/10th Clonex Rooting gel. I usually just put them right in the gel container but I had too many and the gel container is almost gone...

I like having the color coded neoprene, it makes it easy to know what is what at a glance.

Here are the two weird pheno skunks I removed... chopped em up and threw em on the rack for "garbage" hash materials. Shit was dank as hell, smelled like cotton candy.

Too hard to lower my lights, so I just sat the planters and airpots on top of 4 gal tall buckets...


Avg temp inside the tent with 2200 watts HPS's: 83. I can get it lower with the A/C, but then the Veg tent gets down to like 68 - 72


All the plants are in and all the cuttings from them are in. There are 83 cuttings from those 6 plants...

If you haven't seen the breeder tendencies in me by the clones and seeds I have bought leading up till now, this post should paint a pretty fucking clear picture... so if you are just looking for grow advice, im just showing off my results really..

and so it appears that by the end of the 2nd medical marijuana card, I will have harvested six crops.... as long as the solar flares don't blow the power grid out before I get a genny lol... anyhow... after that, its a crop a month for the third card... those journals will be made as the crops are born, just like every crop I have written about so far. Hopefully by September I will be able to know every crop ahead of time, but I think things are just making into the tent as they can or should, without adhering to schedules of other plants, as it should eventually be... and that's where I am heading

sometimes shit has to happen on all fronts, in all phases of plant growth, without me snappn pix and being all fancifull with these updates.... after all, as I already eluded to a long time ago, no one takes me seriously, so this is all bragging and proving that I am a serious individual. These rooks out there, in the back of their mind, they know better than to ask me for anything except genetics. So fuck off suck a dick and buy my genetics.

all I can say is that I planted 33 clones in cups, moved a bunch of lights, and put a lot of cal mg and sensizym in the tent. The temps outside, as you all know, are setting records evey hour every day every municipality. Avg temp at night = 72 avg temp daytime = 79. Period. Humidity inside the tent is a solid 55, I've never seen it flex all these crops (4 n 5). The veg closet is in the same room, but because of the a/c, you can subtract ten degrees and ten humidity off of that. I know, whatever. Nothing is complaining except the shit like mold and fungus and bugs. My ladybug population at the moment is down to less than 200 (est). BUT I will replenish that on Monday or Tuesday. If there is anything anyone would like to know, feel free to ask, it seems like I have been black listed at this point. But the 8000 watt garage is coming soon, so attention High Times Magazine, motherfucker... whatev... those who grow who know aint fuckin NOT paying attention to what kcaps does so keep shutting up.

as a highly respected grower, I would like to take this time to say that I am officially considering myself a breeder rather than a grower at this point in time, and everything I do is for the love of this plant and never again for monetary gain. Which was never my primary goal in this but at times it was more important that the love of the plant and the love of horticulture. I am still just on this cowboy site bragging and marking achievements, but the bottom line is I have seen it all , and I am ready to dedicate my services and skills to coming up with new strains that will help people feel better, because that is what this is all about. I love you all, keep it growing.

whats up dude, I just found your grow journal here on rollitup. I havent really been on this site for a minute but my kid is taking a nap and it gave me a little bit of computer time. I am the guy that came over and got a few clones from ya around the 4th of july.

Hey dude since your breeding... I may have something you would like. I have a chernobyl male that just showed today. He is approx. 6 days into flower. maybe 18"-22" tall. Its a bad ass strain http://cannacentral.com/strains/chernobyl/ Ill make a deal with ya, breed him with something and hook me up with a kcap strain seeds.

Also, this crop survived the spider mite infestation, however, it was a weak crop due to the fact it was the beginning of a perpetual grow that never started. It is on and popping now, so check out my new thread, 3rd Med Card Perpetual Grow 2012. It is the lead up to the day when I hit the switch and turn on my new 8000 watt perpetual (4000 watts every 12 hours). I may put some flicks of that crop up here when I get to uploading stuff again.
