Got the Koi in the basement for the winter. As I am new to Organic gardening (or anything other than basics of gardening) I am curious how, or if, I can use this water to nourish my grows? Looking for info on methods, processes and tips.
The "pond" is alread y heavily airated with a PH of aprox 6.4. Fully cycled- 0 ammonia or nitrites. Heavy on the Phosphates and nitrates usually. Their water is changed as needed with RO/DI water with no additions other than koi foods.
Trying to figure out if I can use strait, mix with anything, use as a compost tea or add mollassis and continue to arerate for a period of time- Or just not bother to use completely. Best during veg, flower, or both/neither? Any shared info will help, thx.
