Kosher Tangie & Blue Rhino

Look at that Kosher Tangie go! This plant is as vigorous a grower as I've had in my garden. I'm noticing a slightly yellowish color in my Pineapple Express, like it wants food, but it's still so damn small I didn't want to burn her. I'm going to introduce some food to her real soon, within a couple days.

Pistils are popping on the PE as of yesterday. It won't be long now before I move the BR and KT into the flower chamber. I noticed a yellowish tint on the KT and just gave her some more Sensi A & B. The nutes have been very light so far, so I'm not that suprised. Everything in the environment has been very stable, temperature topped out a few times at 82F, but in my experience that is not a bad thing. I'm really anxious to see what kind of flowers I get with these plants and am excited for the next couple months. I'll be back soon guys.

Here's some pics of the Blue Rhino I had before. This was flowered 10 weeks and the trichs were only about 30% amber. She definitely could have went a little longer and I probably would have seen a little more color change, but I am very happy with her at 10 weeks. My fingers are crossed that my new BR is something similar to my old.

Woah, RIU was down for a few days, back with a new look. Got another image update on my grow. I ordered a 600w Ushio opti red hps from amazon and should be receiving it shortly. Within the next couple of days I'll be putting the BR and the KT into my flower box under a 600 MH to grow a little into the scrog before switching to flower. I've added some Orca mycorrhizae to the mix along with some voodoo juice. Plants seem happy and moving right along. I'll be back again soon with more pics and updates. Peace

Moved the Blue Rhino and Kosher Tangie into my flower chamber this afternoon. The BR is on the left, and the KT is on the right. Starting today, they will be 12/12 under a 600w MH. In a week or two I'll put in my new Ushio 600w Opti Red HPS. Usually I veg my plants into my scrog a little more before I switch the lights, but I'm experimenting and going a little sooner this time. The plant you see by itself is my G13 Pineapple Express Auto and it's stretching and flowering nicely under my T5's at 18/6. So here we go, things hopefully should be getting exciting soon. I'll be back with pics.

Here we are at 7 days of 12/12 for the BR and KT in the scrog. As you can see in the 2nd pic, the BR has shown it's first two female pistils. The KT is almost twice as large, but hasn't shown sex yet. And finally, the 3rd pic is another update for the PE. First time growing PE, and I'm only getting 3-4 blades on my leaves. Anybody have any input on this? I was thinking it may not be enough food, but she has had a healthy dose of nutes, so I'm not sure. I will say that I'm not very impressed with this PE strain, based off of this grow, and will probably not order it in the future. So that's where I'm at, see you soon.

looking good. i have always feared the screen. seems like it can be a pain.

ime some plants like larger containers to grow in. i have seen plants ( seedplants and clones) in a small container for too long and just spit out 3 blade leaves. throw em in a larger container and they grow leaves with more blades or fingers as some people call them.

It's A Girl!!! Excited to say, my KT has shown her pistils after 9 days of 12/12. This girl is really stretching out and has the look of a good yielding plant. I will be cloning her. Just wanted to post an update, all is going good. Thanks for checking it out any pics or info on these strains, post em up! How'd yours turn out?

Haha! no need to fear the screen, it does good things! Thanks for the input, she is in a 5 gallon dwc. I've been using these for some time now and never had that problem before. That plant is an autoflower too and on the smaller side. oh well, I'm not too concerned really with it. It's a onetime grow for me, there are other strains I want to try.

Switched the bulb in my flower box to the new ushio 600w hps and that thing is bright!

Those ladies should be happy with those new rays coming down on them. I still can't find much out there on the kosher tangie. I believe that I have a great, more sativa like, pheno of this strain and am looking forward to seeing what she does in flower. With both kosher kush and the tangie being such amazing respected strains, I can't wait to see the results of this combination. Wish there was more out there, but for anyone interested in kosher tangie, I will be posting the entire grow right here.

Some updates of what's going on. I cloned the BR and KT today, in case they turn out to be fire. Took 5 KT and 2 BR clones. Some pics of my PE, and it is the smallest auto I've ever grown. Nice looking flowers on it, but damn is it small.

Just about 2 weeks since the first pistils have shown and this is where we're at. The kosher tangie stretched quite a bit and is still going, should slow down with flower production picking up. The scrog has a nice look to it with many flower sights and healthy leaves. No signs of burn or defs on either KT or blue rhino, they've responded well to AN's sensi bloom, organic B's, mother earth tea, nirvana, big bud, bud candy, calmag, and liquid orca. Humidity is steady at 55%, temp between 65 and 80F with great air movement. Lighting, as mentioned before, is an ac cooled 600W Ushio red, 180W of cfl's on the sides, and 52W of uvb lighting. Each bucket has 3 large air stones powered by 3 fishtank air pumps. This is a legal medical grow. I'll be back soon, as always.

whats up with all the air lines running into your system? does that help you with rez temps? I have those same buckets and I have to insulate them and put in frozen water bottles 2-3 times a day to fight rot... what do you do

I've got 3 air lines going to 3 stones in each bucket, the more air the better. I don't get root rot in these buckets, even when I've only ran 2 airstones. Sorry I couldn't be more help, good luck.
