Kratom withdrawal a month after use

So I did kratom for a month. Usually 22.5 grams a day. This is a report about the withdrawal of kratom through my experience. Its not bad, basically feels like a normal cold. Very tolerable and lasts mabe 3-4 days.i would say this is the better opiate to use for pain management. Msbe other people here can shed their experiences with the withdrawal if they did higher doses, or longer runs. My experience is that its not hard coming off. Coming off booze and benzos is 10000000x worst than kratom.

Just do a mild opiate people if you can. I see kratom and the first line in defense to treating pain and addiction. If it doesn't work, move to something better, but this is a much better drug to treat people in my opinion.

Well..
Benzos are some of the worst.


All you xanax users out there who take ten times the normal dose for any length of time are in trouble.

Best not to go to extremes with this stuff but if you have, wean yourself off as gently and soon as you can.

I only took 3.5mg of Ativan a day. Definitely not 10x more than what you are meant to take. Even small doses of benzos can have nasty side effects including seizures. Its not just about the dose, its about how long you took the medication. Take one milligram of xanax for a couple months, and just stop taking it cold turkey. O you will feel it

Kratom isn't that bad. I use it predominately for college. I loved doing school work on benzos and alcohol. I know right, how did I do that? Idk hell I got on the deans list half xanned out. If you need a pain reliever, opiate withdrawal, anxiety, or opiate maintence i can see kratom as a useful tool. Kratom addiction is not anything close to a dope or oxy addiction

Been taking kratom for about 3 years.
It all started when I coughed one morning getting ready for work.
Blew my fucking back out foreal.
I took it for about a month and stopped.
Few months later, I cut my knuckle to the bone and it required surgery.
Got back on it after I ran out the 10 pills the docs gave me.
Been on it since.
Withdraw is worse than a nicotine withdrawal but no where close to a harder drug withdrawal.
I’ve heard people can use kratom to get off H and other opioid drugs.

Oh agreed. Yes, length of time is a part but still, two years on one mg of xanax will still be better than five or ten mg a day for six months.


What the hell am I saying? Both are nuts.


It's just that I've seen folks snorting four or five bars a day (no idea why they snort it).


But again, for those who may be reading...

The half life of all benzos is killer long. Xanax is one of the shortest at 15 hours.


That means it will be in your system for many days after your last dose.


And that means weaning yourself off is a bitch and managing the withdrawals can be bad.


Course, the usual way is to switch the patient to an even longer lasting benzo so..
I probably don't know what I'm talking about.

The short of it is, be careful kids. If you like benzos try to stay at therapeutic doses and try to go days and days between sessions.

Like my friend here says, its very unpleasant and unpleasant for a long long time.
