Kushberry in SS#4 with Dyna-Gro: Smart Pots vs. Old Fashioned Plastic

If you take a look at the disparity between the number of 'Likes' I've received vs. those you can actually read on my profile, you get a sense for the fact that my period of most frequent contribution to this site has been erased forever.

It's hard to be motivated to publish local info and even my journal when it can all just disappear like that (and only a month into me seriously posting), but I am still taking photos now about 30 days into flower and might update here with one big post that shows the group in time lapse.
That would be awesome man, I'd love to see it. Don't get un motivated though!!

Long story short:

My entire way of thinking about this plant and really botany in general has taken a quantum leap. I'll be using an entirely new system next time, and I might even register a domain and set up a blog because I want to document my progress, but RIU's recent fuckup was inexcusable.

About the Kushberry:
I harvested too late last time. This one got chopped about 9 weeks in and the taste/smell is improved along with the effects. Much more of a 60/40 sativa dom this time around, with a moderately intense bouquet of berries and citrus that only hints at the briney OG you exhale (I found it somewhat like soy sauce in that sense, which is why I used to call it 'umami' before I learned the 'brine' expression).

I got about 5/8lb of tight buds and another 2-4 oz of shake. The tightest ones at the top of the canopy weren't grinder-teeth-busters, but they were as dense as you'd want from a CA top shelf strain. Because of another ::ahem:: experiment in lighting variables, the majority of what you might consider grade-A product wasn't quite as dense and would probably be in the $35-40/8th range retail for those of you familiar with the current CA medical scene. Both the yield and density can be improved with better canopy management.

I'm both pleased and disappointed with my results, and I've learned so much this time that I can't wait to start again!!

So I might end up 'posting' updates next go-round, but they'll be in the form of a link to a SAFE repository for my data :cuss:

you might be able to recover some of the posts via google. In another thread I was in a guy did that and reposted them...

Im glad I found your thread again. :) please let me know how your Kushberry turned out. We were exchanging notes on our phenos before everything was erased. Beside that, I'm very interested in what you will be doing next. Pm me I'd love to shoot some ideas back and forth.

Hey bird,

Glad you found it; my mentions of taste/smell and feel above were meant for you in particular.

You were totally right: the frosty Kushberry pheno is a OG-leaning sativa dom hybrid. I took my first round waaaaay too late, hence the CBN-induced 'creeper' quality I was noticing after the initial trials had me thinking 'indica' because it stuck me to the couch.

I edited my post above with a short summary of what happened, so instead of pasting it I'll just direct you to my last post :bigjoint:
