Works the same way with lone wolf muslim terrorism, terrorism is terrorism, there should be no "domestic" distinction. These people are radicalised online and are sucked into a world with an alternative reality, a different "truth". Our decisions are only as good as the information we have to work with, provided we are thinking objectively, without conditioned biases. Fox news is as much to blame as any far right Nazi site, more so, they provide a social framework and emotional support for these morons and the cops who openly assist them. The latest incidents in Wisconsin illustrate the problems with racism and policing perfectly, the treatment of the different groups involved by law enforcement was astounding and could amount to conspiracy in some cases. I kinda look upon this young racist moron and cop wannabe as a victim, but one without an excuse and one who's asshole will be most cruelly used for a very long time.
It is interesting and hopeful to note that many of the outraged people in the streets supporting BLM are young white people, like his two victims. In some cases they outnumber the black folks and are a product of a new generation with life experience in learning and working with other peoples and a more inclusive media diet, largely clean of white supremacy and racism. These are people who want to form a community with the black minority, they care what happens to them and are willing to go to war to make sure they enjoy equal rights and an end to unnecessary suffering. The numbers of these young people grow every year and they come from all races, they are a product of social change, education, the internet and a largely liberal media environment.
