the bank robbers really only want the money and most likely will take it and run if you leave them to do what they came for. you will still have your money in the bank, it's insured so you have nothing to worry about. now if you step in with your gun drawn and start shooting you have a 66% chance of getting shot, there are two of them right? are you that good with your pistol or you think you are? two against one, chances are your going down. not to mention the other people who get shot or killed because you think video games make you a better shot in real life. you might have training with your gun but you cant react fast enough to take down two theives with guns who are intent on getting away at all costs.

every one here has a gun and its legal. and i guarentee people here go to jail for "protecting" them selves all the time. you becareful that self defense thing doesn't allways stand up
a buddy of mine in prison for a few years cause he shot a guy in self defense, man fighting him with knife and chain, but a bullet went low an cut the guys dick off, died in the hospital like a year later,long story short my buddy is still in prison and will be long time, even with tons of eye witnesses saying it was self defense, courts found it unjust use of force or some shit

I live in a place with the most relaxed gun laws in the country, that probably even gave away were im at. were all cowboys here even the african americans and the mexicans, lol its gun crazy here haha

Like I said I would asses the situation first, no need to get smart.
If I thought an innocent person would be hurt because of my actions, I wouldnt do anything.
What if they were standing side by side with thier backs to you, not paying any attention to you?

the only thing is your situation is slightly differnt that that posted by the OP cuase no lives were in danger the guy is alive still.
but in life or death situation any strong able person should take control of the situation and if that mean poppin grapes with a 45 then so be it. hijackings and what not. or maybe a bankrobbery were the guy is offin people left and right.

How do you know the guys still alive? He could not be answering his phone, because hes in a hospital, dying from internal bleeding. Just because some black punks jumped him. just because thet didnt shoot or stab him, dosent mean he cant die from being jumped.
