just bought my first l.e.d. an hlg600r any thoughts or concerns that i should be aware of? always been a 1000whps and a 1000w mh no experience with l.e.d. lights

Just run the room warmer and keep plenty of distance. Room should be 25 to 26c

Since the light isn't as blinding as the HID lights you are used too, resist the temptation to put it too close to your plants, it's super easy to burn your plants with a new high powered LED. Keep a close eye out for deficiencies during stretch-these lights really increased the growth rate beyond what I was used to, the girls will eat a lot!

A lux meter (20$) can help you figure out how far away and how intense to set the light. The numbers aren't super accurate but can give you an idea of how intense the light is and stuff. The dimmer on it combined with how far away to put it can make it hard to judge how high to turn it up. You can buy more expensive meters to measure light but a lux meter is better than having nothing at all
