Laceygirls Multi-Strain Grow...

Hi everyone... I have been away for a while... Its been quite busy over the past three months, so I've put everything on the back burner for a while...

Electricians have been my biggest holdup... I've finally got my extra powerpoints in and things are on their way..

I'm heading back to Palm Cove again at the beginning of February and I'll be gone for a week. Its my tenth wedding anniversary :-) When I get back I will be setting back up totally this time... Getting my mother tent back into action.. I am aiming for total automation this time, even for the mother tent... I am spending another $2500 on a whole new set up and I am finally getting rid of the 1000 watters and switching ballasts.... Going with the same size tent I've already got just another one, and I'm going to be running a four pot system in each tent... I'm also going to be running Sunny Ballasts and 2 x 600 watt lights per tent. Cutting down on power usage not efficiency... I'm not having a flowering tent or a vegging tent, just two separate systems so I can be harvesting every seven weeks. I have chosen Laced Rhino as the strain as its quick, big budded and bloody lovely.. I will also be running super lemon haze at intervals. I will be setting up another mother tent with only 2-3 strains this time, they will live under the 400watt metal hallide... They are much healthier I find than when I run them under the 220watt flouro... I'll be using that for cloning...

Discount Hydroponics are going to be loving me over the next couple of months.

Right now, I'm running the laziest big tent I have ever run... I threw ALL my mothers in there and switched them to flower... They were all getting too big and hard to manage and they were starting to get sick because of it, and all my cuttings died, due to lack of love by my husband while I was away training for my job :-(...

So I am handwatering My flowering SLH mother, my Laced Rhino Mother, My Top 44 Mother and My Aurora Indica Mother... I am going to be starting from scratch when I get back from holidays.... The Laced Rhino lives on with two other friends as does the SLH... I believe one of those friends also has a top 44 also so the strains are safe, I've just got some new strains that I've been sitting on for ages, and I can really put some time and effort into these when winter is on its way so I can't wait...

Going to be spending Christmas in Hawaii this year... :-)

Will post pics later on... I've only got an iTouch camera at the moment and its not the best...

Now, guys I want you to bear in mind, this is what happens when you decided to flower your mothers when they are 4 and a half feet tall... They've just stretched heaps... I'm struggling with their height, but because they're so big, I really cant tie them down.... I miss my screen so much...

My mothers were only under a 220watt flouro light, I have learnt the lesson that a 400 watt metal hallide is heaps better and makes the plants heaps healthier too...

This is my aurora indica that I procured from a friend. Its a nice bushy little plant... Very leafy but I am happy with the way its going, slight clawing on a couple of the leaves but its not all over the plant... My iTouch Camera is crap, and I had to take these photos thru my oakleys...lol... It couldn't deal with the amount of light...:-) So these aren't the best pics... I'm four weeks in...

Here is the super lemon haze... Everybody's favourite...

Here's the top 44... Its also a nice little flowerer... :-)

Here is the laced rhino....

Now just to set a few things straight... These mothers were very sick when I put them to flower, so I am not expecting the usual sized buds that I would normally get... They are very tall and therefore spindly as they had to stretch to the light... I am also not using my usual recirculating top feeding DWC system I always use. I keep my mothers in vermiculite and perlite so I was stuck with using the pots they were in and hand watering... I miss my DWC with hydroton... :-( It will be set back up after my holiday...

More when they get bigger....

Wow, its been a weird couple of days... The guy who was watcher of the Super Lemon Haze Mother Plant and my Laced Rhino strain, LET THEM BOTH DIE.....!!!!!! I was not a happy camper, but I still have Laced Rhino in my tent, so I am going to have to take a super late cutting from it and grow it back into a mother AGAIN...

I was devastated about the Super Lemon Haze but then a friend rang me out of the blue, and said "Ive got your Super Lemon Haze strain here at the moment, its about 4 and a half foot tall and its taking over my White Widow, would you like it back?   UM YES PLEASE!!! So the Best strain of Super Lemon Haze is now back under my watchful eye...:hump:
Its such an ugly plant, but the smoko is unbelieveable...:blsmoke: :blsmoke: :blsmoke:

I will be taking cuttings from it in the next couple of days... I'm fighting the urge to turn it to flower...lol.. But I need to keep this strain...

More later...

Hi guys Laceygirl again... :-)

Just a quick update on the new mother...:-) As I mentioned earlier, a good friend of mine killed what I thought, was the only surviving plant left of the super lemon haze that wasn't in flower... When an older friend who I gave a cutting to months ago, called and asked me if I wanted it back... SOOOO GLAD I DID...:-)

If you have a look at the journal in my signature, documenting my entire SLH grow, its best to start at page 50-60 that's when things really start to get large.... This plant is the mother of that fantastic strain....

I am going to have a busy night in the shed tonight, I also have to cook tea, get the kids out of the bath, jump on my eliptical trainer for half an hour.. So tired but still heaps to do..

I will post more pics of the big tent, things are coming along in there.

More later

I am not happy with this grow at all... Due to my laziness and my move, and my delays with my electrician, I am not set up anywhere near as well as I was at my last house... I miss my work bench so bad....

I've put pics up in my albums... You can access those thru my profile Under Albums.. Its the multistrain grow...

My iTouch camera is so shit, it doesn't show any detail... I'm pretty pissed off with this grow in general.. It makes me want to get in there and tip my shit over...

The Super Lemon Haze is so tall, now its got good sized buds forming all over it, it can't stand the weight, so I've had to tie it to the roof of the tent...

Hey Rusty... Mate your avatar still gets me every time...

Makes me chuckle..

This grow is not an epic one Rusty... Its really a product of the amount of work I've put into them... Let this be a lesson to all... Your plants will do better if you actually get in there and work with them... Mine are feeling totally abandoned... And I can understand why... Pumping heaps of love into the Super Lemon Haze mother and she's doing sooooo much better...

I am about to harvest the Top 44 plant tonight Gentleman.. I'll take photos of it when its chopped down.... Its really sick and I need to get it out now... Its going to be good smoke, I've already sampled some... And its been flushing now for nearly 3 weeks so its time... I can't wait to get this grow over and done with...

I'm starting a new thread when I come back from a week away with my husband... We are going without the kids for the first time in 7 years... Really looking forward to it... Then I can come back, get my head down and my arse up and get back into my new job of stay at home mum/farmer... :-)

More tonight...
