Lack of germination progress

Hey.

I started germinating 3 seeds about a week ago. They all popped their shells within 24 hours. But since about 4 days ago they've made no progress. The root has still been poking out about 5mm. I planted them a few days ago and dug them up today after no sprouting and they're all still in the same state.

I killed them, didnt I?

Did you lightly water the germinated seedlings everyday? I usually keep them lightly moist and under a humidity dome until they break the surface.

Doesn't sound good. Did you let them dry out? Once they pop you still should keep them pretty damp until they get upside. I would suggest using cubes, these hold good moisture. Rockwool cubes or rapid rooters work good.

Yup, daily. Didn't use a humidity dome, but it was pretty humid with my light on anyway. I didn't let the soil dry out once.

Nope. Just tap water.

The stop in gerimation was very sudden. Almost as if there was somthing wrong with my water. But I had let all water sit for at least 18 hours.

hmm well i would have given them a few more days to further germinate, ive planted germinated ones that came out about 3 centimeters, sounds dumb but those plants thrive much better than the others. give it time they could still come :)
:peace:
