Hello guys,

i just want to post some of my ladies pics. they r both flowering since 50 days, i want your opinion and when do u think i should harvest? i heard someone saying that it is good to turn off the light for 2 - 3 days and than back to 12/12 for 2 days and than harvesting. so what do u suggest guys?

Looking good! You have a few weeks left on both and it's 72 hrs of dark just before chop to help increase THC production.:blsmoke:

Looking good man! That is a myth about turning the light off a few days prior to harvest. Friends and myself have tried it and it does'nt make a difference. Just pluck off them big shade leafs (make butter) or w.e and then let them hang for 7-10 days with low humitity and a small fan blowing around them, NOT on them and then cure. Should be tasty! Nice work m8. Also, does'nt hurt to buy a $30 light microscope to see when the trichomes are ready!! I harvest mine once they start to relax or bend over a bit.

"The Stichting Institute of medical marijuana (SIMM), the first company to sell marijuana through the pharmicies of Holland, has been investigating the medical possibilities of cannabis, together with TNO laboritories and the University of Leiden.

One of their discoveries has been that to keep the ripe plants in the dark before harvesting could increase their potency.

SIMM's growers seperated a crop of mature plants, harvested half of them and kept the other half in absolute darkness for 72 hours before cutting and drying.

Analysis of the resulting dried buds showed that some varieties had seen increases of THC of up to 30 %, while the CBD and CBN remained the same."
