Does anyone use lady bugs as a pest control? I know they are really good for getting rid of some pest, but not sure which ones. I think they control spider mites and a few others...any use lady bugs? Cause i have a 4x7x7 room and i put a few in there to take care of problems that may occur.

Hi F4t4LShot - if you want to make sure as many people as possible see your post - reply to your own post (bump) rather than duplicate them - double posting seems to piss off some people.

To answer your question - i don't use ladybirds or ladybugs but they do eat aphids and probably other nasties. And as far as I know (which admittedly isn't very far) they don't do any kind of damage - plus they are nice looking!

Thank you cali-high. And for the last fucking time people, im not doing anything wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its not like im posting the same thread in the same section. Its in different sections, some people only read one certain section, i want to make sure i give them a chance to see my question and give me more information. Theres a crazy idea (MORE INFORMATION)...wow! And why would i keep "bumping" my own thread. I would think that would piss more people off seeing my thread at the top EVERY DAY saying "Bump! Anyone here, someone gonna answer?" I think thats worse than ONE THREAD PER SECTION. Nontheless, im not going to stop doing it, so you can continue wasting your time complaining, i have all day to respond :) Happy growing!

Hi F4t4LShot - i agree - you didn't do anything wrong. I don't care if you double, triple or whatever post/bump - doesn't matter to me. I mean hell - if i don't want to read it or see it - i'll click on something else, right? I saw cali-high's disgruntled reply and thought i'd try to help with both posting-etiquette (which i guess was wrong advice - sorry) and your orginal question about ladybugs (they are cute and nice to have around).

I think I saw this on trailer park boys lol, I think a hot pepper/ garlic solution will work better, havent tryed it though, there also might be some other organic spray you can use from your local garden store...
