Pop chanteuse Lady Gaga lit up during her show at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on Sept. 17. When a fan threw a spliff on stage, the singer coyly asked, "Holland, is a real? Don't tease me." She smelled the large marijuana joint and declared, "Oh, it's real." Gaga took three puffs, mumbled "Fuckin' A" and tossed it back into the crowd.
"For those of you who are wondering if I'm high right now, I am not - that is not nearly enough to get me high," she laughed.
Another fan chucked a pot-leaf t-shirt on stage, which Gaga wore for part of the show.
In 2011, she told Anderson Cooper, "I smoke a lot of pot when I write music. I'm not going to sugarcoat it for 60 Minutes that I'm like some sober human being 'cause I'm not."

most celebs dont smoke whats thrown on stage. atleast that is what i have herd. some think it might be laced. lady gaga probably wouldnt care tho.

exactly, practically everything she does is very strategic for fame, she even said it herself. now if she went all out activist style then I would respect her for it, but this is obviously just to get more publicity.
 
I'll never understand people's fasicination with celebrity opinions on anything at all. They act, sing and dance for us, we pay them and buy their shit for entertainment, not for their opinions

Now a bunch of stoners will buy more of her shit cuz she just sold it to them by smoking in front of a crowd. I say get on with the singing, ill smoke with my friends afterwards I don't want to stand at a concert and watch the lead singing get high, Wtf

she has more money and power then god and said in the interviews she smoke's alot of pot. how can you guys hate her so much? she's a very creative person. why all the hate?
 
Yep.

I'll admit I used to hate her. I thought she was pretentious and her 'craziness was ripping off Madonna (whom I also hate) was all the work of her production people. In actuality she's a quiet, insecure person who found her way of expressing herself through music. It give her confidence, she flaunts her sexuality to counterbalance how she felt growing up, she is behind the artistic development in everything she does, she reaches out to the LGBT community and to top it all off... she can actually SING.

I made so many assumptions about her beforeI took the time to check her out and hear her out. She's genuine.

I love the fact she interacts with her fans so much,and smoking that joint was just as much for the person who threw it as for her. Good sport and probably knew if she didn't say what she did people on stoner forums would be calling her a lightweight lol.

She's just honest, though in a contradictory way her IDGAF attitude is a front. And people who accuse others of attention-seeking usually just do it underhand IMHO... x

Just to clarify, I am not a Lady Gaga superfan. I have ONE of her songs mashed up with MGMT. I can just appreciate a cool person and artist for who they are even if they're not to my personal taste.
 
I just remembered there's an interview with her saying she smokes a buncha weed to do music. so I guess it is legit , however it could all be a ploy from the beginning *suspicious stoner talk* but its all good.

Why does this have to be some sort of ploy?
What if she is just a talented musician that likes to smoke weed? (Musicians smoking weed? Holy shit, that sounds crazy)
Why would she talk about her weed use if she didn't smoke weed? What would be her end game?

I bet there are a ton of pop stars too scared to talk about their marijuana use.


This is a positive thing, stoner haters, get over yourself.

If more high profile people came out and supported weed, maybe we will all be legal sooner.

I hear this all the time from people that do not know what the fuck they are talking about. Just because a person plays pop songs does not mean they are not talented.

I am not really a fan of her music, but your are an idiot if you do not think she is a talented singer/songwriter.

I wasn't hatin on her, I was making fun of stoners who open their wallets to someone simply because they smoke too. If u re into that kind of music he
