Some ladybugs are great and eat mites. My shop sells them to add to your grow room. I don't know if all "ladybugs" like those crappy jap beatles are good or bad.

I bought some ladybugs at my local store as well. They have been thriving in my grow room. The problem is most of them have gotten out of the tent when we open it, so I guess thats a good thing because there is no bugs for them to eat. But for the week while they were populated in my garden, I got some ladybugs established on my outdoor plants. Ever since I took them outside they have lived on the plants and almost none of the ladybugs have left. They are definitely doing a great job for me.

Ladybugs are really overrated. They are helpful in theory because they eat "pests" but they are more picky than a lot of people think. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing a few laybugs and spiders cruising through my grow room, but nothing beats predatory nematodes and well calculated neem and rosemary oil warfare. Keep the ladybug, but dont expect much or waste your time stocking them, at least IMO.
