Lake County Outdoor BAN wtf

Shit man thats rough....read about that kinda shit around here sometimes too never dressing up like a sherriff thought thats pathetic.....always sad when someone steals anothers hard work...damn I hate reading that.

They just did away with co-ops here.....limit is 18 outdoors unless you're on 20 acres or more and every six plant script must meet residency requirement ie you have to prove you live at the residence....500 fine on day 1 per plant 1000 per day every day after.....code enforcement......

im gonna open up a dairy n the middle of anytown, california, and i bet many a outdor growers would complain of the smell, but yet they bitch when their neighbors have had it with their stinky dope plants and act as if they have no right to complain at all.

a rural ban is pretty weak, in urban i can see the need for some type of regulation, a complete ban is not what i would have done though.

This is BS.......a dairy farm stinks 365 days a year. My outdoor plants only smell for a few weeks in late summer. My plants don't smell any more than the little old lady down the street with a rose garden in her front yard, that I can smell 1/2 a block before I get to it, and 1/2 block after. They just want to use the fragrance of pot as an excuse. If the smell of "flowers" offends people then should we ban all rose gardens also?..

Game, set, match.

My granny, who never saw a pot plant in her hillbilly life, lol, would have freaked on the beauty of the flowers on the plant for sure. There ain't nothing like it.

i was playing devils advocate. regarldes of all our personal feelings, you cant argue for complete lack of regulations in an rural environment due to the proxomity in which people live and the desires of all those living there. something has to be limiting through plant counts, wattage used, location and or environmental controls, land size, etc. not that one of or any combination of those are the answer, but merely examples.

I understand. I try not to offend my neighbors, thus I use a carport to keep my garden discrete. They just don't have a handle on the regulations here in Cali and the balls keep coming down all over the place, from county to county............I think they have done a pretty fare job here in Sacramento.....the outdoor 'ban' is only a code violation, and in Sac you have 10 days to correct before fines start. Also 'enforcement' is by "citizen complaint", they aren't spending any resources looking for it.....

Lake county,CaliforniaCalifornia passed an ordinance for2014 that bans all outdoor growing in the city limits and indoor is limited to 1200 watts. outdoor growers outside the city must have at least one acre and can't do very many plants. What the fuck lake county?!?!? I live in lake county and I really hope this is fought and changed soon, but I doubt it. Just really sucks.

I agree everything has got out of hand with the huge crops at every other house, but they shouldn't just ban it completely for outdoor growers. There is stil a lot of people that just want to grow six for their own medicine that they probably can't afford to buy all the time.
