Lanky growth, bad genetics or??

All 3 of these are OG Kush Auto.

The first round of plants from these seeds I had "learning pains" with, but other than being severely stunted in height look like what I'd call normal.

All being grown in same FFOF/HF mix, RO=calmg phd 6.3-6.5, temps 75-8

Currently using 2 6 cob china lights each pulling 275w over a 4x4 space. Not sure on height at the moment, I was getting signs of light burn so they may be a little high now.

This is what I’m working with right now.

The rear center plant is 16” from the light and the L/R ones are 33”. They are within a few days of each other age wise. They were all potted on 2/9.

The tall one looks like it has amber tricomes already.

The only other light I have on hand is a 4’ T8 fixture with regular daylight spectrum bulbs. Should I add that between the 2 led?

Amber on the leafs or calyx?
There’s always a pheno that stands out from the rest so it could be that.

That one plant is just a mutant. It looks like it started to reveg briefly and then continued flowering. What brand model are those lights?

They are labeled as fsgtek but same light as other but different stickers. $100 Amazon specials.

The leds have already slightly yellowed from an initial slightly white. One Fan already has bearing noise.

t8's typically are able to be touching the leaves or i may be thinking of t12's. I run a few t5's. I would put them along the edge of a tent suspended very close to the canopy to get a little extra light on them if thats what I was working with. you could also take reflective material if you have it to really reflect the light to make it more dense

they all show dif. phenotypes.
one grew very lanky, no matter how much light i gave, so i think its genetics.

Next time you buy lights, I would get some higher efficiency, higher quality ones that don't need fans to cool them. The quality ones are reasonable anymore. You already have bearing noise, not a good sign.

Thanks. I was aware I was buying subpar lights, but didn't realize how much so. The plan from the start was to use these to get started then assemble much better strip lights once I had a chance. Once I get the other lights, I'll "attempt" to warranty these.
