large tent in garage during winter?

I know it sounds out of the norm but I have my reason, mostly convenience.

Im use to growing in sealed room, ac and co2.

However my new basement is lower in a few spots, but I have a huge subpanel in my garage. So I was thinking of getting a 10x20 jardin. however my garage is not insulated so the winter months concern me especially the cold, I'm also worried about condensation and a heat source during the night, thoughts?

Yes and no, thats another argumen itself, only thing truly sealed is made by nasa lol.

My family wants to keep it in.garage, which is 15x30 with 10x10 shed attached. I agree it would be convenient for company.

But I have cold winters, mild summers and this house is rental. So a cheap easy idea is all.

I been thinking about framing a 16x8 room and using foam insulation board. I have a two ton ac that works wonders in my basement, has heating option too. But I could only run 6-8 lights with this 80 amps. Ac uses 20, lights 50, scrubbers on 10 or 15.

I dunno, doesnt make much sense to move it from basement that I love, only in agreement because were expecting another and kids are getting so curious.

I did consider divorce, I love my ladies! Haha

Space heaters would work to keep the garage warm and you could always insulate. Look on craigslist for insulation and put it in. Also youll probably want to have an extra dehumidifier in the garage outside the tent/room for the condensation that sticks to the walls when its cold outside and warm inside. Or youll see mold in about a year.

If you need to insulate ive used kingspan insulation panels before in an attic grow. They're not too pricey either.

the gas line but it's been capped in the valve turned, i imagine it has leaks.

now I'm concerned with being the only house on the block that doesn't have snow on its garage, not cool but...

I think I'm going to go with the insulation board, 1 inch on the sides and two inches thick on the top.

My ac puts out 24000 btu for cooling, but only 22000 for heat. But the heat side of it is 22 amps. this is where I'm getting even more confused.

I only have a number 10 wire and a number 6 wire out there so I can put my controller on the number 6 sub panel but then I only have another 30 amps for fans in AC which is cutting it very close.

* can i plug my AC into my light controllerand only run 6 lights? *

I want to use fresh air possibly instead also, has anyone ever used air thats 0-32°?

How many cfm would I need compared to temp for 8kw?

(Which seems way too complicated)

My reply directly to your title - Is a huge red flag and not smart!! .... Especially if it's detached and of course assuming you're in an illegal state. Don't fix what isn't broken the basement is ideal, Sit the kids down with the old Goosebumps movie "stay out of the basement" and simultaneously tell them as it starts that you have some work to do in the basement with the garden, come up in about an hour, they will never ask a question again ;D

I would use the basement if possible, having it I. A detached garage makes it an easy target. Either way it sou dsl like you are getting things figured out. As far as cold air, you should be just fine while lights are running. During flower the colder temperature will cause some strains to turn purple.
