hey guys! winter break is over and im back :P

stopped growing my first grow because i couldnt commit the time and because i was experimenting with other drugs (i<3college) :X and now im back lol

yesterday i bought a clone from one of my dealers. he told me that it was called larry's og kush and i think i remember hearing it somewhere but im not sure. he told me that it was a really strong strain... and i really do take his word for it because he's very reputable and ive known him a long time heh.. so i dont think he would lie :/

the thing is when i received the clone, it looked like a small sativa. skinny/long leaves. i was under the assumption that og kush plants were indica with nice fat/short leaves. i just want to know more about this strain :P and if it isnt what it is then thats fine because im 100% certain that he gives me quality:blsmoke:

PS.. ITS GOOD TO BE BACK TO THESE FORUMS <3<3<3<3<3 ROLLITUP.ORG

Hey phatanna,

OG strains are very potent in general, and YES, most people are under the misconception that OG strains are Indica.

OG strains are infact mostly sativa dominant depending on which variety. I feel that the confusion began with the rise of OG Kush as a popular strain in California and the west coast.

I personally have grown Larry OG and it is a near pure sativa to grow. It requires lots of room for the roots. It will grow very tall and eat up all the nutrients you can provide it.

More over you must pay attention to your environment as it always is the most critical aspect of successfully growing sativas.

About 75 degrees average temps in the flowering room, 40 - 50% humidity, and good air circulation. Soil is more permitting than hydro so I stick with soil.

Set your clone to flowering when your Larry OG reaches about 6 - 8 in. It will grow about 3 - 4 times as tall and will take about 4 months to finish.

Take some extra time to cure it - 1 month it will get you higgghhhh .. 3 months u will be soaring and at 6 months u will be hallucinating.

Sativa. mmm so tasty.

True OG Kush is one of the “ultimate” kush strains found in sunny Southern California. Very few other strains seem to compare to True OG’s unique scent, taste, and mental & physical effects.

theFreshScent Product RecapStrain True OG Kush Type Indica dominant Pros Intense high Cons Long recovery Price $30/g, $80/8th tFS Rating 9.5/10

True OG’s light, almost neon green leaves are simply great to gaze at, with a copious amount of crystals covering every inch. The buds are dense but break apart with ease, leaving your fingers sticky and aromatic for a while afterwards.
When smoked, the first shock wave hits hard. It doesn’t take long to realize that you’re already feeling its effects from just one or two hits. This bud is for real. A few hits of this True OG and the effects are long-lasting and intense, but beware that the recovery period from this is heavy. This bud is more of a late night adventure than a midday smoke break.

This strain is no joke, seriously. If you want the cream of the crop in the kush realm, here it is. Come to think of it, True OG should come with a warning label about inducing an extreme level of munchie impulses.

OG Kush started out as a mostly sativa. Then growers started bastardizing it to make the plant yield heavier kolas like the hashplant/kush types of indicas from Afghanistan and Pakistan. The crossing produced heavy yielding indica-like OG's. This trend has also helped a lot of stoners to be ignorant know it alls like some of the guys who posted a few years ago in this thread. OG's are mostly known as a powerful hybrid that has a good head high as well a some body stone.

Wow people!!! There are hundreds of "kush" varieties, some of them sativa-dominant, most of them however are indica-dominant. True "kush" genes originate from the high altitudes of the Himalayan Mountain region, and are about as close to 100% indica as plants come...The plants yields are small, almost laughable. Finding 2 foot tall finished plants in the mountains would be quite common. That's why these genes were taken to different parts of the world, hybridized with other strains, selecting traits that were favorable. Hence hundreds of "kush" varieties nowadays. And supposedly, hence a bunch of people arguing diluted points, not comprehending the reality of the situation.
