Laserbrn ~Sour Diesel~~LA Conf x OG (Madman)

I'm starting these in a 4x4 tent with a 600w HPS light. I picked up these clones from the dispensary about a week ago. I had to wait for some equipment to arrive to finish up the tent, but it's ready to roll now. I need to pick up some more soil to get all of these transplanted, but the Sour D that I transplanted certainly wasn't rootbound so I have plenty of time.

I started all of these clones in FF Happy Frog soil and I transplanted the Sour D clones into FFOF in one gallon containers.

The plan is to flower all 12 of these under a single 600w light and keep them all fairly small. If they should become unruly and large during the second half of flower I can move them into an 8x4 tent where I am currently finishing up Fucking Incredible. I only have until June 02 when I need to move so I had to get 12 plants and I'll just have to flower them small in the interest of getting it all completed on time.

I look forward to sharing this grow with you guys and I'm really looking forward to this all soil grow. I have previously been an all hydro grower and I'm making the switch to soil for these next few grows to see if I can really authentically taste the difference. Soon we shall see.

Not off to a good start. Three of the "LA Conf x OG Kush" plants have shown STRONG white powdery mildew. I had to cut off just about ALL of their leaves to remove it. I'll go tomorrow to the hydro store to pick up some fungicide to try to protect the others. I might end up having to kill those three off. The plants from here out under my care will have much lower RH and much better air circulation so hopefully it'll stay under control.

This is why I've been growing from beans the last few years, this shit ALWAYS comes up when I purchase other people's clones, but I needed to get this one "banged out" real quick.

I found the son of a bitch! I'm using clones that are direct decendants on that grow. So now I know that "FI #1" was and IS a hermie. So far the other 5 don't have any signs of being hermies. I'm actually excited to find it this early in flower. It may have opened a couple of pollen sacks, but it shouldn't do the damage it did last time. Catching it at 4 weeks is a big deal. I was working in a smaller space last time and not expecting any hermies didn't inspect that lower buds on the back plants that closely until I started seeing seeds everywhere. By then it was too late, but the bud from that is still really good, just a bit seeded so you have to go through it before you smoke it.

I grow for my own personal smoke so it doesn't phase me much, but definitely annoying.

Unfortunately these clones have freakin' Powdery Mildew so I'm already stating out with a little problem, but it was only terrible on two of the clones and I had to damn near cut off all of their leaves, but they should grow new shoots pretty quickly.

The plan has ALREADY changed. I know I do this all the time, but I'm planning to now veg these plants until the Fucking Incredible is finished in the other tent. I was going to flower these 12 small under 1 600w light, now the plan is to veg them a bit larger and flower them under 2x600w's.

My lease is up on June 02 and that's not realistically enough time to finish. I don't know how the hell I miscalculated and thought I had 10 - 12 weeks until I needed to move (I think I did before I procrastinated and took too long to get clones going), but I have about 9 weeks now.

SO.....rather than scrap the whole thing, I'm going to sign a 3 month lease when the time comes and I'll move after the summer is over. That will give me plenty of time to finish these up to take a break throughout summer. I'll try to have these finished in early June so I'm not paying the really high electric bills for too long.

If the two plants that I dman near had to massacre to stop the powdery mildew make it, then we'll be in really good shape and should be a long for a good grow.

I sprayed some fungicide VERY VERY lightly last night to try to inhibit the growth of the powdery mildew, but I don't want to hit these tiny little clones too hard with this stuff.

I lied, I'm flowering these clones starting in about 45 minutes. That will be their first dabble w/ the 12-12 light cycle. It's been a long time since I flowered under a drastically short veg and I want to see how they turn out under 600w's. I'll grab another 12 in about 4 weeks time and I'll do the same over again. Some look like they will be bigger, some smaller (just judging by how they look now).

I pulled the Madman out. The PM was already out of control. Fuckin' dispensary clones! It's fuckin' crooked to sell this shit, someone knew these plants were infected. Well the spray's are killing the Sour D and the PM wasn't under control anyway, so fuck it. They are gone and I'm flowering just the Sour D. I need to find a good hookup on some more clones.

Strain and genetics has just seemd to be a royal pain in the ass for me lately....damn.
