Late season outdoor growing

What would happen if you plant really late in season like December or January. I cant imagine anything worse than a slightly smaller yield right?

you would end up with a really small flowering plant. Weather may be an issue for a few months depending on where you live. I planted some last year in september and they were flowering when they were only 9-10 inches, pretty funny.

Yea, I would think it would totally depend on where you live. I am going to plant a seed today just for shitsandgiggles to see what happens.
But I live on the soutern California southern coast. We have had a very unusual summer so far....below normal temps and lingering morning marine layer.
I figure that by the end of October it might have a chance to yield something. It was a lone, dark seed from a bag of Shamen I bought from the despensary.
I was a little peeved upon finding it, but I loved the effect of that weed, so I'ma planting that sucker.
If it sprouts, I'll journal her progress. I can always move her to the almost-finished closet grow area if need be.

ETA: good luck if youdecide to try. I didn't mean to hyjack.

quarter ounce? im realy hoping you dont mean grams lol.. Im thinking of growing outside for about a month (toped plant) and than budding indoors.
