You will get high, start with 1/8 ounce, if that don't get you blitzed, eat some more. It takes longer to feel the effects, so give it a good half hour.

Pretty sure you can't get high from just eating it straight. It needs the heat from cooking to release the thc, which is then stored in fatty materials you cook with such as butter. Tried eating some once when I first started smoking and besides making me gag, and not getting me high it did nothing.
