Leaf Deficiency cant work it whats causing it

Hi


I have a real bad leaf deficiency which has stopped new bud growth an all leafs are turning yellow an dying.


At first i thought it was magnesium deficiency so i added cal mag it didnt work so was advised to try epsom salts so did fresh nute change an added some epsom salts along with my nutes which are canna aqua flores with cannazym rhizotonic an canna boost.


i have added the nutes are half strength from canna grow guide. ph it down to 5.8


room temps are 28c when lights on an 21 when lights are off on 12/12


i have co2 in the room an that reads 1500ppm

Hi machead, 5.8 ph in soil is low. I maintain 6.3 which seems to work for me. If you add the cal/mag your really don't need epsoms salts also. Temps are pretty decent, except 28 C is just a little warm but not much. Is that temp at the plant itself, or room temp? Your leaves look like a little like a nitro burn, but if you are using 1/2 strenght that shouldn't be it. Did you do a test as to what the ph in you soil is? The only thing that comes to my mind is that the soil ph is out. Maybe. Hope all works out for you. Peace

sorry i should of said its in a DWC flood an drain. An temps are fine a little higher when room is sealed with mini split air con an co2 in there.

i have my air con set at 28c an all the hoods are cooled too

What nutes at what dosage? Can't know what they need without knowing what they get!

Are you following a feeding chart- or just "winging it" with the bottle?

How often do you change your rez/buckets???

DWC plus flood and drain??????
DWC is the roots constantly in the water with airstones-- flood and drain isn't... which one hun???

sorry its flood an drain not DWC.

I change the rez once a week an it gets topped up half way throu the week with just tap water.

I follow this chart an i have just got it at half strength at the mo with them not loking to healthy.

I did have I had take it out as the amount green slim it was causing in the res was unreal.

Since I took it out the res stayed a lot cleaner.

I don't think cannazym likes bubbles at all as it foams up then when hits sides of res turns to green slim

It is now I have out some black sheeting around it.

So u think its nute burn even thou I have never had nutes go passed 720ppm / 1.0 EC?

Since its blacked out now put the bubbler back. It keeps from growing nasty bacteria. Can you show some pics in normal light? I'm off to bed.

I would feed them at full strength. During flowering, the plant can use a lot of nutrients.

I am more inclined to think the problem is a result of radiant heat.

Is it happening mostly at the leaves closest/most exposed to the light?

Not really been starting in middle of the plants an working its way up. definitely hasn't been starting at the top.

Ok ill up the nutes to full strength see if it changes.
