leaf died in 1 minute :S

i was watching one leaf,not big leaf,it died in about 1-2 mins...really.
when i came after a few hrs,another leaf died halfly...after many hrs,nothing more happened.only those 2 leafs were 'dead',i mean,they turned dark green and bended...and edges curly...there are no orange or yellow spots on leafs or anything...i didnt use any nutrients ,my plant has almost a month,and she is not so big,cos i cat the tops twice,and now my main stable is not growing :S
but only 4 branches...i cant find my camera to picture ,but when i find it i will upload pics...
i hope someone can help here...not much help is needed,but these 2 questions to be answered :

why is main stable not growing
why 2 leafs died quickly...
(i never overwatered it,only guess can be lack of light MAYBE,
it is not burning,temperature in room i dont know how much is,but its maybe 20celsius-25max...)
is it maybe a disease?

btw,new growth looks good...

mines doing the same, "crispy leaves" lack of nutes "i didnt use shit" and probly light. what are you using for lights? i have four cfls like ON top my plant and shes doing well as far as new growth, im just still courious about the dead leaves too.

i use 1 light,ordinary light bulb...for a week i used neon light ...until it died,don't know why...seems like leafs are dying more and more...now 3 leafs are dead...2 dead...third is dying...but it IS growing...damn,ill just wait for summer and be cool about this...but still i (we) need help...someone respond to this...ill post pictures soon,but until i post them someone please try helping...

One ordinary light? Yep I would say that is playing a HUGE problem with your grow. I dont know how many plants you have trying to grow but if you just have this one you can get some cfl's which I dont know much about. Or you can get the good lighting such as MH for the veg and HPS for flower. The two different lights give off different spectrums of light. For one plant you could get a low wattage such as 150 or such. I couldnt tell you how much it would cost you cause I use 600watts for for most of my grows. I do have a 400 setup that I bought at first with a HPS. A 400 watt generally covers a 4'x4' area and a 600 will do 6.5'x6.5'. Of course for some really good lighing on your plant you should get two lights going at the same time so it covers more of your plant in light cause of the different angles. Or the cheaper route just get the one light and then get a right rail which is a rod with a track that you mount the reflector on and it goes back and forth slowly. Depending on your grow room this could definetly be a good idea. But if your room is to small these types of lights can warm up a room pretty quickly which of course can lead to more problems depending on how your growing such as hydro, soil, and such. Hope this helps and go get a light soon at least the cfl.

get some 6500K cfls for vegg they dont cost to much, you can get 4 23 watt 6500K bulbs for around 25 bux

yeah..lights and nutes is probably the problem

whatever the problem is...
i have onyl 4 branches ,and the plant looks crappy!
cos its main branch doesnt grow!!!!!!!!!!!!
and only one branch grows....it grows regulary fast,but other 3 branches almost dont grow,atlest they dont die,they remain same in weeks...
so,i have 1 branch growing...
first grow,other one will be better,i wont cut it,cos i cat this one twice and probablly not well....
