Leaf discoloration

Hello everyone,

I am looking for some advice on some leaf discoloration that is beginning to concern me.

A little background info:

2 gallon container
FFOF 80%
FFLW 20%
Domolite-lime - 1 tsp
Air-cooled hood - 400watt HPS
Temp range - 75deg -- 79deg
Humidity - 55%
4-5 weeks of veg time under 250watt CFL
Day 19 of flowering
Plant is 30in (measured from base to cola)
Distance from light - 12in

These two pics are of the top of the plant.

Here are some pics of the middle-bottom of the plant.

I haven't given the plant any nutrients until this past week. I have just feed her the last portion of a gallon of solution that I mixed on Monday.

The nutrient solution was for a gallon of water and then ph'd to 6.5 before watering.
Big Bloom - 3 tsp
Tiger Bloom - 2 tsp
Open Seasame - .25

Thanks,

Just a lil hungry. Sometimes when a plant starts to flower they use ALOT of energy to transisition to budding and will use the stored up nutes in the fan leaves.

Did you veg in this soil mix too or was it used only from the start of flower?
Yes, I vegged in the same soil mix that it's currently in. I read on some posts that FFOF has plenty of nutes to sustain a 3 - 4 week veg. I *think* she vegged for 4 or 5 weeks? And I only started some nutes on the 5th week.
Thanks,

I also had some suspicions of PH, but after so much reading there appears to be many opions on the subject. Some say you need to PH your water to 6.5ish and others say the soil will buffer and correct the water put in it. I have been doing the latter. I have been giving her store bought water without checking the PH. I checked the water yesterday that I have been giving her and found it to be 5.5ish.:o I am thinking the soil's PH might be too low now since the water I have been giving her wasn't 6.5 and as a result certain elements are not absorbed and causing deficiencies. From reading around it seems most like a cal / mag deficiency? (The yellowing and the rusty spots on the lower fan leaves.)

I top dressed a tsp of domolite lime around the base and PH'd some water and gave that to her yesterday afternoon. When she is ready I plan to give her another feeding with nutes following the FF schedule.

I'll post an update in a couple of days - hopefully I have caught it early enough.

I'm seeing signs of Nute burn as well. So you have an excess of one or more nutrients and a deficiency of another. I also notice some red petioles an indication of either P deficiency or simply genetics. Could def be pH. Get you pH in order and let us now how it goes. I'm not personally an advocate of pH obsession because in a true organic system pH will be buffered for the most part by microbial life. However, it is clear that you are not using a 100% organic approach so pH is in the cards. Good luck, Best Wishes. :peace:

Can you let me know what is not organic in my setup?

80% - Fox Farm Ocean Forest
20% - Fox Farm Light Warrior
1 tsp - Domolite-lime

Is it the Fox Farm nutrient line? I'd like to try 100% organic.

Thanks!

When feeding did you feed at full strength? Most growers start a 1/4 strength and work there way up. Especially in plants with issues. Also never feed in dry soil. Wait is that an autoflower? Some autos don't handle the nutrient rich ff soils so well. could be burn if that's the case. Nitrogen deficiency will look basically the same
