i would trash that unless you want the other plants infected...see the webs on that leave? you got spider mites.

There are 3 plants with this out of 17. I'm going to corintine them and treat them at a different location. I was reading about spraying a 1:5 ratio of alcohol to water mix to the infected plants.. ? Any info on this would be greatly apprectiated. I'm going to get neem oil tommorrow, should I treat all my plants ? Also would it be good to give them a good flush before treatment? I'm starting my big bloom nutes on wed ?

go to lowes/homedepo and buy Hot shots no pest strips 1 will kill every spider mite in your area with no spraying and absolutly no harm to you plants, just take em out when they all gone, and dont use during flowering, google it ull see many postings on it

Ok so does this mean that I should go back to 24 hours of light ? I started vegging 6 days ago ? Or would 18/6 be acceptable for when I am using the strips ?

18/6 no need for 24 anymore. and let me know how that bug strip works... i would wait for nutes until this mite problem is gone.

make a soapy water solution not too much soap and spray the entire plant even the soil until it is soaking wet even get the underside of the leave let the plant drip dry but dont put it under light while doing this it will burn.... DO NOT USE TOO MUCH SOAP... next step go get some neem oil ..if youre only going to use soapy water do it 2 times a week for 2 weeks dont over do it. should help that right out. also throw up some sticky strips to catch the mite that are flying around

Alright so I corintined the 3 plants that were infested, I did a little test with them to see if I could get rid of the mites. I sprayed the plants with a 1:5 alcohol to water mix then let them sit outside in the 35* temperature for two hours. I'm curious to see if the cold climate would kill off most of the mites and IT DID ! I took off most leaves that were totally been munched on and sprayed with an organic insecticide.( I also flushed the soil) I've got them in a secure area to see what effects my changes made. I did this just as a test since I really needed a little more room in the grow space anyway :) I will keep taking pictures and update everyone , who knows maybe this will lead to another remedy for the mites.

I have got another question. When I have been watering I haven't been letting the water run off much, or any at all. Is this a bad thing ? I'm thinking I am going to give all the plants a good flush before I start using my nutes.

If its not running out then youre not flushing, just feeding :P Its most important to get the fungus/bad bacteria out of the soil or you will have the same problems. And thats awesome that the cold weather got those mites...

I flushed every plant today just because I'm about to start flowering in a few days and it looked Like a had some salt buildup. I ran through some cleanex ( I think that is the name). In about a week I'm going to start using a half dose of my big bloom and the tiger bloom. A few leaves to show why I flushed.

and just some pictures from a last week
