Leaf patterns?

Went and checked on my babies today. 4 female going strong. The tallest 5 1/2 feet being in a pot Anyways i noticed on one of my ladies the all the new leaf growth is only 3 bladed. Does this mean anything?

each new set will usually add 2 leaves. it's totally normal.

when a plant starts veg the leaf points count up. When its in flowering it starts to count down. Has it started to flower?

It could be starting to flower. Being over 5 feet tall, I'm inclined to believe that the leaf pattern has already been more than 3 finger leaves and that the pattern is going DOWN now... which is an indication that flowering is underway.

Huh. I never knew that about the number of leaf points going down once flowering begins. That's pretty cool.

From my 1 and only experience, thats not so true.

I had a plant that started as 5, went down to as little as 3, and about 3 weeks before flowering it went into full veg with perfect 5 bladed leaves, and now its in flowering.

Yes it's starting to flower I should be able to harvest this one in mid September.
