the rest of the issuses look like ph. it disen`t matter that you leave it sit

you need a ph test kit. just a liquid one will do. look for one that has about a 4 to a 8.5, that is a standard range.
i would just get ph up solution or you can use backing soda. nutes will lower the ph.
your soil should be ok, fox farm uses lime to ballance the ph in the soil.

you are probably waterin g to often and caused to much nutes from the soil to be released and locked out the calcium. back off on the watering. it must get absloutely dry before watering.
when you do use nutes ph the mix after you add the nutes to the water.

sorry it so long here. had computer issuses.
when you use staright water ph it.
when you add nutes to it, wait add thye nutes to thye plain water , then ph it.

yes a ph tester and at least some backing soda or you wont be verry sucsessful at growing.

great stuff. just dont rely totaly on those moisture meters for your watering. they realy arent that acurrate.. it may help you. the most important was the ph tester and solution.
just make sure they dry right up before wateringwait till the leaves start to droop then get an idea how often they need it.
