Leaf tips up at first light, level by mid-day

Two 1 month-old plants. Growing in FFOF. One XGS190 light at almost a foot distance, still on lowest (65W) setting. 18/6 cycle. I think FFOF is a little too hot for this strain but they're handling it. Fabric pots, pH adjusted well water, no nutes as of yet. Temps in upper 60's in the morning, mid 70's rest of the day.

I just realized it this morning, although I'm pretty sure it's been this way for several days at least. The leaf tips are pointing upwards in the classic pose during the first hour or two of lights on. By mid-day they're flat and that's where they stay until lights out.

Anyone seen this before? I'm not overly concerned that something's horribly wrong, but wondering if maybe we should move the light a few inches further?

Mine would often do that. Not leaf tips, whole leaves. They'd reach for the sky, and then later in the day they'd be fine. My harvests were just great :-)

Hey, guys, thanks very much. tip top, I described it very poorly. Like you said. The leaves are tilted upward, not just the tips. Thanks for pointing that out.

topfuel, thanks for the link. I'm gonna read that right now.
