Leaky hose

So Im hooking up a garden hose and watering wand to my faucet. There are no threads on it so I bought a 1 ft section of tube and tightened it with hose clamps to the faucet and a barbed brass piece with threads.

The problem is that even though it all feels really tight it still leaks a little when I turn it on.

What can I do?

leaks a little...leave a bucket underneath, if this really gives you concern have a friend check this out it can be even a faulty tap washer ....? I leave a large watering can under my 'leak' that fills to 3 gallon every 3 days just in time to water my babes, with air temperate chlorine evaporated. water ....lol they love it!

From looking at the picture it looks like the valve packing is leaking not the 'hose conection' --- But the picture is not very clear

"There are no threads on it so I bought a 1 ft section of tube and tightened it with hose clamps to the faucet and a barbed brass piece with threads. "

The above statment does not make sense to me , If their are no threads how did you thread in a barbed adapter ??

Do you mean the Male hose threads are striped off the outside off the hose bib ?? Is the inside of your hose threaded and thats where you threaded in the adapter ??

Hi SteelHeadGuy,

I couldn't see the picture, so ignore my post if I ain't helping.

Maybe you can get some Teflon Tape and secure it in all connections/threads. If not try getting horseshoe clamps. If not, get some steel wires and secure that shit.
If still not, you should call a friend who knows this kinda shit and give him a beer :)

Peace brotha!
