Leaving the plants longer to rippen vs. doing faster cycles

It depends on what strain you're growing also. I have Gorilla Glue ready at the 8th week of flower but my God Bud isn't close to ready. You really have to look at the trichomes and watch the hairs start to recede and start to die off before the plant is ready. It's really hard to tell. Miracle Alien Cookies takes forever(+12 weeks) to fully flower out and its such a tight small indica, you want to give it all that time to fatten up first before you pick her.

From what I have heard, you don't want to be in the "industry". The government eats you with taxes and regulations then the black market guy down the street can afford to sell cheaper than you. Eventually there may be a 'need' for consultation as to strains, we'll see.
