I have some photos, welcome to the forums jmolmfao

She is fully chopped and hanging to dry. I got pretty busy last night and decided to celebrate with a few drinks. I'll post the photos in a few!

Thank you very much SativaGrows! I am privileged to be amongst some very knowledgeable people and I look forward to the pictures along with everyone else.

Can you get a shot of the root ball? I would like to see if the salt overload had any visible effect. My estimate of 254g is for dried and cured bud! I forgot to use the word "bud" in my previous estimate!!!! No trim in the weight!!!

Yeah I'll take one later. Would the best method to get it out be to put the whole thing in a blue tote and shake off the coco?

So...This root ball isn't coming out lmao I'll show you what i mean in a minute here. The entire pot is roots, it is completely dry but the roots have bound the coco so tightly they have like become one with it. I can only pull off clumps of roots and coco I even tried soaking it and it sucked up an insane amount of water and still wouldn't release.

I'll be starting a new thread for the clones soon but here is a quick video, I don't remember topping any of them but this one looks topped doesn't it?

Funny! That is a pretty solid mass of roots! Let it soak in some water, and it should break apart. I am interested in whether there are any signs of white salty areas. When you did the big flush, it gets most of the salt out, but will leave a ring a salt that the flushing does not get. I had a prior grow in coco where my runoff was 3500 (far less than your 4500), and after a full flush and harvest, I still had a lot of salt in the pot. When you flush, the water takes the least resistant path through, and will leave pockets of unflushed media. It gets worse when you use Smart pots. The roots grow through the fabric, and locks the roots to the pot. The Smart pots are re-usable, but a LOT of work to get it separated.

It's been soaking since that day, it's starting to smell bad, gotta pitch it today. I didn't see any white areas in the coco, the roots were fairly brown though, not really very white. Could have been from the solo cup worth of potting soil I sprouted the seed in and buried in the coco, it turned all the water muddy when I soaked it. Bud is fairly dry now, I will be manicuring and starting curing today. I fear the low humidity in my apartment killed the taste but we will see after curing. Heading out now to buy some mason jars.

So... I grew air bud. Not sure if it was the burn or the low humidity, methinks the burn. There are almost no flowers on these buds but rather just all dry crispy leaves that crumble and cover your fingers with sugar when touched. They are finally dry and ready to cure as of today now that the stems snap. I am thinking I may just turn it all to hash or make edibles though. It's a fairly potent body buzz when the bud is smoked but taste isn't very good and it's air bud completely. I barely see any flowers at all just leaves really. Oh well, hopefully my next grow will be better. I'll post some photos later, not too impressive though.

Im speechless, I cannot believe this, my mind says LIESSSS, they looked so good man, perhaps a few more weeks of flowering would have helped, but as they say, trial and error! LED's are a tricky light, perhaps switch over to HPS for a few runs and see how that goes. Hash it up bro!

Condolences! Just a few weeks ago, the Trich closeup looked pretty good. Were the Trichs all dried up at harvest? After thinking about that root ball, you may have been facing two issues. Nute/Salt overload, and a root mass that smothered itself. That plant was pretty big, and perhaps a bigger container would have helped. For round 2, make sure to watch the runoff PPM, and flush the coco once a month. Slinger; Do you want to concede on the weight contest? I thought you had that wrapped up, guessing just slightly higher than me!!!

2 Quick shots, whoever said tie up your branches THANK YOU!!!!!

That would have been me :-)

Im finally checking back in, and just in time too! Harvest!
Sorry about the nute burn problem you ran into, but to be honest many first time growers go through exactly that... The difference make is if you act on that experience or not ;-) Best wishes for round 2.

Great Journal (: I have one thing to tell you. Regarding those clones, the LST you think you're doing, isn't helping. You're just shaping the plants to grow sideways instead of straight up. The best way to scrog and LST a plant is to start from seed, top it. And over it's entire veg period, slowly LST it until it feels your scrog screen. I think a bit more research is needed before you try something like a full screen scrog though :P Look up some Scrogging journals for some help! I Hope this will help out and i can see a scrogging journal sometime! (: PEACE:leaf::peace:
