Generally, pre-made circuit boards that are specifically designed and used in Chinese LED lamps, will only take one kind of LED type. But custom made circuit boards can be made to take multiple types of LEDs, multi-layer, multi-channel circuit board would work.

This light will not have 1 circuit board with 3 kinds of LEDs, but rather individual circuit boards for each LED and a master circuit board with 3 channels between the rows of LEDs.

I am extremely interested in seeing how to solder Cree LEDs with the other brand LEDs on the same circuit board.
The A51 lights are not part of anything Cidly. The 15 LED modules are similar, but the cases, circuit boards, the drivers and the LEDs are different, I know this because I ordered these parts myself. Cidly uses low bin no-name Taiwanese LEDs, and drives them to the max @ 700mA.

Found the same lamps from this manufacturer in China. I believe its another branch of Cidly.

Yeah...from the research I have done--which is probably not half the amount that some people on here have done--most of these LEDs out there are manufactured and shipped directly from China aka Cidly. They make IMO 70% of the LEDs on the market. If you want to buy good quality American made...check www.LumiGrow.com or www.RhinoGrow.com both are Made in the USA high quality products. I myself own 3 Rhino's, you can check my thread on here titled RhinoGrow. If I had unlimited budget I may go for the LumiGrow as they seem to be the most advanced LED company around. For now these Rhino's are kicking ASS! View attachment 2320835View attachment 2320836View attachment 2320837
From the research i've done, a lot as well (I think that most people in this thread have a pretty good knowledge), i've found USA made LED's can be great but so can chinese one's too, as long as you speak to the makers of the lights and they seemed informed and can give you good information to back up what you have researched, i try and find out every models spec and compare that with how they price it and see how it matches up, it does seem like i can get a chinese made light for sometimes 50% the cost less that is 90% percent as effecient/powerful as one of a similar model! I can easily see how it linked to lower employee cost's rather than always cheap parts? sick grow by the way! always like seeing a plant do well under led!

You may be 100% correct...I have used only one "Chinese" model LED and the fans broke down very quickly. I am not here to bash another light, just to speak from past experience. I think the LED world is so new that you can find a great well made product from China and you could just as easilty find a bad poorly made product from the USA. Good to debate/discuss tho. Either way LEDs are AWESOME lights that--if they work--can save you money/time/effort. Cheers!

Most certainly not 100%!! I have heard so many stories about bad models that it must have messed up the market at some point for chinese made LED's and im hoping things have changed and led makers realise they cant rip people off for long before no one will buy their stuff!

word up LED's are the way to go! a little criticism and debate is the only way to improve things!

Is there anything looks like this one?

There is zero resemblance or style similarities in these with mine. I am curious what the circuit boards look like though in those.

With my new light, each 1pc of Cree has it's own pcb, each 1pc of Philips Rebel has it's own pcb. And the Helixeon LEDs have 5pcs per 1 pcb.

The Cree's are on their own switch/driver, the deep red Philips and Helixeon 735nm farreds are on their own switch/driver, and the Helixeon orange/reds and reds are on their own switch/driver.

Is there anything looks like this one?

any one know www.xsled.net
how about their lights?
I have a plan to buy one test...:eyesmoke:
I have never heard of that brand, but i will tell you that i have seen at least a half dozen lights that are that exact same model. i would say dont spend too much if you decide to purchase that...it may not have the longevity of some of the other ones out there. but on the other hand there are plenty of people on here that have used that type and done well, so it all depends on your set up and what works best for YOU. IMO you should purchase an American made LED, such as www.lumigrow.com www.rhinogrow.com www.apachetechinc.com , those are all great ones, they are a little more expensive but i think its worth it...in the end you will save with LEDs but only if they last like they should. good luck grower, cheers!!

Are there any complete grows with anything from California Light Works? Seems like every journal I follow gets abandoned late in flower. Either they are disappointed with the light, or the light works so well they get too stone-aged to post moar.:eyesmoke::eyesmoke:

It's like a kessil spinner with a plasma light in the center. Tell your friend to post some pics if he gets it. I always wanted to see how the crazy thing would work.
