After one day of shifting my lights to put the Wills 150 watt light up and shift my Bestva 105 Watt light and my~80 watt Burple Vander. I have to say I got some light burn, despite not raising the Lumens that much. I think the plants reacted to the difference in Spectrum.

I have to say that the Wills 140 watt is a disappointment so far. It does put out a lot of light but it is not that efficient. It lacks 730 nm spectrum LEDs and is probably not as effecient in umols/j. They say in the poorly written sheet 2.7 um/j but my Candlepower meter can't prove that. It does, at 150 watts get hotter than my 105 watt Bestva, but the heat sink is poor for heat exchange too.The single point hanger system takes up a lot of vertical space, I need another yo yo for it and it will work much better. It does have a nice rectangular footprint and I think once the plants get used to the diffferent spectrum it will do better. That and dim it a bit for a while.

Interestingly, the Vander Burple really perked up my White Widow Auto #2 and got her to start to stretching! I may raise the light a bit tomorrow. It's down to ~3" now.

So far its been great, plants responded to the additional light, we'll see how it finishes. Found the source in China, so if someone trying to fill a warehouse, its usually possible to skip the middleman.

These are made by NaLite. They are on Alibaba also, but company page is below.

Just be carefull about buying China (Alibaba Lights) with there after sales customer service, although Mars Hydro pulled through by replacing a month old (not Led) item.
I also bought the Geekbeast Monster 720 for under 600USD, i might get the Mars Hydro Fc8000 next for about the same price.

Hi everyone, returning member. Used to grow HPS 600W and starting playing with LEDs before shutting down my grow.

Can the LED experts help me out? I'm looking to go strictly LED with HPS supplemental (dual 75W if I keep manage the temps) for either 4x2 or 3x3. I've dreamt of owning LUSH LEDs for years but its been a long time. What's the latest and greatest in LED tech for a roughly 12-16sq foot area?

I was going to build a strip light and I have pretty much ran out of time and I have a small area that needs edge lighting. I am looking for 4ft strip lights with 2 strips per light around 200-250w total and dimmable. Any reputable places have something ?

youll get varied answers on that one, HLG is near if not the top of the food chain, IMO. Honorable mentions to Gavita, Mammoth, Timber, Luxx, and a smaller company i really love, BudgetLed/Elevated lighting co.

If heat is an issue, the bar style lights run cooler than that board style, but if youre coming from HPS, you should be just fine haha

I think Im going with the HLG 300L and dual 150w HPS as supplemental. My tent should be in this week, went with the Secret Jardin DS120W (2x4x6) so I should have plenty of lighting. Tent will be in the garage so I dont think heating will be an issue since I will flower 7p - 7a overnight. Ill use a 4in inline fan for exhaust, a smaller fan for fresh air intake and some small rotating fans inside.

75 year old American lighting company, Dazor Lighting Technology gets into the Bar LED grow light game with the Parmax 4 and Parmax 8. Bluetooth mesh control is available. These bars don't need to use individual 660nm and 730nm LEDs for the Emerson Effect. They use horticultural tuned Lumiled LEDs which output more deep red photons and less green/yellow photons.

I haven't seen grow journals of Dazor Parmax users.

The HLG Diablo has a different premium spectrum and is featured in many grow journals.

I'm not a user of Daxor or HLG products at this time. I'm still using CXB-3590s.

Cobs are looking better and better all the time. The only system so far that has honored the "Forever upgradable" promise :peace:

I mean I would love to try out a new manufactured grow light for a 4 x 4 Tent but I’m not paying for one at this time. I’ll say it again I would love to try one for free, I would even return it after I was finished. I have a small home and an even smaller electrical service. And where I live they install digital smart meters if you upgrade your service and I’m just not interested in that.

I am new to growing…but customer service is something I am extremely well versed in, and Timber Lighting is A+++++ 5 star! I ordered a cypress 8 bar light, the supply line for drivers and other parts has been tough, not just in the lighting industry but in all electronic components since COVID-19. So my light took quite some time, the communication has been great, and now I was told straight up the drivers aren’t there and may not be still for a long time, so he offered me 2 smaller cypress bar lights for no additional cost, giving me more versatility and getting me up and running asap. You don’t get that often, most times in this situation, you are fighting for a refund so you can go spend your money and roll the dice somewhere else…they won me over as a customer!
