I'll grab an Apache instead. they use Nichia. You should get one 2. :)
I didn't say it...but that's what's up. No one ever brings nichia up, but they are the best. Pricey but great.

G2 what Nichia's are you using? What ever model you are using, you're wasting their potential for a grow light by using that spectrum.

That's the Area 51 spectrum.

This is the ave PPF for the Apache 120WR - 120W light.

Avg. PPF 700 µmol/m2/s @45 cm
It's actually a ppfd number, just another mistake on their ancient website. The new at200 is doing 1208µmol/m2/s@45cm(18") for me with my meter.

So I was actually fairly pleased with the build quality. No hot glue used except to affix the glass to the metal housing. The wiring is actually pretty nice and the loom is nice touch. Was obviously disappointed to find about a gram worth of aluminum shavings stuck to my heatsinks but other than that looks good.

Their customer service has been good so far too. There was a discrepancy in the unit they sold and what they had listed on their site when I bought it. I ordered a unit with a 580-600w draw but the one they sent me was a 520-530w draw but within a week I had a box of replacement drivers at my door.

Haven't had a chance to actually use it yet. Still getting setup.

TopLed used their super sponsor power on 420magaize to get those pictures deleted and have me banned \systematically deleted. Their response was "we didn't think anyone would look inside. workers must think haha no one find. Thank you we try harder" and are refusing my warranty claim. (big surprise)

Basically the only difference between TopLed and any other Alibaba light is TopLed paid some money to advertise on a couple grow forums. I don't doubt it will work and if I have to strip and service it myself so be it but the warranty is a joke. Too good to be true again. I'm going to dispute this with paypal and see what they say.

I know you are somewhat kidding, but I will answer anyways, it's a true concern for many,

Apache is expensive, no doubt, I never claimed them to be a budget buy, they are if you want the best light. Out of all the big panels(stealth, hydrogrow, CLW, ilumitex, lumigrow) that are supposed to cover a 4x4 for flower, $2300 is right inline(unfortunately). And considering it's 600w+ of the best, not just 400w of some junk, I think it's worth it. Honestly, there is no single LED that I know of that comes close to the light output and coverage that the at600 has. Hell, it is even out doing the best 1000w hps. It's been a long time coming for a light like this and many have been waiting.

Really short and quick descriptions on the site. Obviously you can't patent spectrums, but AT's is theirs and they have been using it way before any of the new companies rocking W/R or all white were even in existence. With all the fake claims of companies working with/using NASA spectrums, no wonder why they want to make it seem like it is patens(if they could they would). As for their website as a whole, I have said it has been shitty and still is. They said they were redoing it, but so far they have just added new, and never fixed or improved the basics of it. They probably just wanted to get the new stuff finally up.

If you want to see some happy plants(only plants that matter, not peppers), just give me a couple days and the show will begin. I would imagine that with the at600, we will be seeing more apaches around, not just me and puff.

Lastly and best of all, I have shared my code(personal, just for me, yet I give it out so people can actually try apache and not have to totally break the bank) with everyone on here and it still works.

if i was to buy a blue led light strip the kind they us almost everywhere would those light work if i put enough of them? or is there different kinds of led to use.

That's awesome of you to share that discount code tags, substantial savings. Can't wait to see what these lights can do. If I hadn't just built my DIY I'd probably be all over that at200. The only thing I don't understand is why they don't include a dimming function. Most average growers won't need to always run 600w all the time.

Hey Tags. I think Apache are great lights and my mind is if ya got the money, go for em. My only problem would be, let's say I was a Swedish greenhouse manager, (who would be the best customer for these lights dont ya think), would I want to invest that much money to replace my existing system to only see LED performance increase drastically and price decrease just as drastically in the next two years? There's a commitment when you buy Apache, or even Lumi, and I would never make a commitment like that knowing how little people truly know about LED growing and how fast LED technology moves. But that's just me.

But the cheap bastard in me does say if they will sell me panels at your discount price, why don't they sell them at that price? I'm old school and would rather make 100 dollars off 10 customers than 100 off of 1. Know what I mean? Plus I was just looking at Plantphotonics and noticed they now have smaller panels something Apache might want to consider in order to get their tech out there for the masses.
