Led for clones????

Got this light as a part of a setup. Have no real use for it.

Would it be a good light for popping roots on my cutting? Thanks

Be careful not to give them too much light. When I cut clones and put them in my cloner, I keep the cloner under a table in my grow space so they only get ambient light, no direct light. That is, until they root sufficiently.

Good to know, I usually set them under a T-5 but had this light lying around. I could probably sit next to mother table then

You could use that for clones. I would make sure the light isn’t too powerful. For my clones and seedlings I use a 60 watt equivalent LED a10 bulb and screw ito a desk lamp. No issues. Your LED could be a tad powerful. But it would work.

Just don't let them sit too long, once they are rooted they need food and light asap.
