if the soil if very dense and hard... take a chopstick or other tool and poke holes in the soil all around.... don't worry if it breaks a root or two. get it to aerate a bit!!!

and cowboy is right... in a week or two it will be back to full health and you will be happy about it!!

Thanks guys, but I'm not proud of her lol. Got my kelp today, going to hit about an hour before the lights come on and right when the lights go out. Hoping it will help to expedite some improvement.

Hey man, maybe you should hold back on any trimming for now. Once the canopy gets more full, you should remove the dead leaves, but I would let her recover first.

I fed this morning with, Buddha Bloom, Trinity, 1/4 tsp/gal of jack's 20/20/20, ZHO root inoculant and Thunder, top dressed the soil with a little fast acting lime. The solution metered 800 ppm TDS and 6.5 PH.

The good news..... I metered the runoff which measured 1100 ppm TDS (about 38% difference) and 6.12 PH. She will get a dose of straight water again next and then a lighter feeding next time, maybe around 600-700 ppm TDS, I expect the runoff should meter around 900 ppm at that point. I see a ray of sunshine for this girl, although she still looks like ass (not my avatar ass but a fat nasty pimply hairy one) and the buds are 1/2 or 1/3 the size they should be. She has until Monday or Tuesday to start looking better or she's getting yanked. I really want to drop the lights but she's just not ready for the added stress. I am hopeful now that she will start to recover.

It's a full moon bro! The next moon phase will stimulate the top growth.
I am glad your feeling better about her, she will be sweet ass again soon. :D

Well I pulled it out of the tent and I was ready to put El Monstre in...... And I had a change of heart. She is at 26 days, still looking like shit and not taking up much water or food at all right now... After I had her out of the screen I saw her inner beauty and I put her right back in. Any way I look at this grow it was mostly a failure but I pictured all of her baby buds as frosty and dank.... I will ride her out and give the el monstre a heavy prune.... If the EM was meant to scrog she will come back strong and she'll get a bigger container when I put her in. The PPP came out and went back in so easily I may consider a flush on her tomorrow if I have some time. I should have done it a long time ago if I would have know how easily she would have gone back in. She held herself right up outside of the tent, she looked beautiful and ugly at the same time lol.

I will wait until next weekend for more pics b/c I'm really hoping there might be something worth sharing.

Epic fail, she's coming out, no improvement and I'm not going to wait another month for 1/2 harvest of less than average potency weed. I threw a bubble gum in the tent underneath the screen and she is responding very well to the lights though. Encouraging at least. The El Monstre was already placed under the 600 so the replacement will now be White Widow. I will continue with this thread and start fresh with pics of the new plant when I make the switch.

I've been calibrating my pen weekly now, just did it again and it was off by .4. Just need to stay on top of it and I will have a blanket of buds this winter.

Thanks to all of you who have followed and please stand by, I will become more active with the grow once my work slows down next month too :D

Ill take her! :)
You don't want her lol, trust me. At 4 weeks my 600 would be putting out fruits at least 4-5 times larger. She's just burning up, as terrible as it makes me feel I have to do it.

Thanks stoney, I don't know how huge they will be but dense frosty and plentiful would be nice :D

I made the swap this morning with a healthy White Widow. She doesn't have the same potential as the PPP but she is in fresh super soil of about a week and has plenty of room to go. It will take her a few days to reach the screen but I super cropped her heavily to spread the canopy wider. Will post pics this evening :D

this evening huh?
lol
Haha, I will get some pics up ASAP. Still having issues with the lights, tent temps are 82 with Co2 running and I'm still getting heat stress. This temp should be absolutely fine, I raised the lights back up to what seems too damn high but I don't have much of a choice, still learning wtf is going on. Flowers are very slow to develop, nothing compared to HID for rate of flowering initiation. Plants are healthy other than the heat stress but slooooooow to move.

The bubble gum is at 22 days and the WW is at 10 days. Glad someone is still following a bit haha, will try to get this going again.

careful on that LED distance, you can def burn the tops with literally too much light ( just too close, not too hot) sun bleaching with led's happens quite frequently, maybe that is what you are experiencing.

Why dont you try taking out two of the led lights for now.

You know, I would do that but if I do that I may as well take them all out because I would be admitting a failure at that point. There's no good reason I shouldn't be able to run 4 of these in a 4 x 4 considering their core saturation. My expectations are too high to run 360 watts of LED, I may as well sell them and get a 600 HPS which I know would run fine in this tent with an air cooled hood.
