LED Grow from Cuttings to Finish

Looking good. That's some pretty intense light.
I ordered the 240 watt just to try it out, and if it performs well, I want to pick up 2 or 3 of the 500s like you have.

I have a 90 watt LED from HTG right now vegging a few plants. It's a good light for a really small area. Once the
plants are done vegging, and under the 240 for flowering, I'll probably sell the 90 watt unit on Ebay. Or maybe use

it keep a couple mothers alive....

Those are all the GWS strain in there? Aren't those from GHS? I have 2 strains of theirs on the way, and a few from a
couple other breeders.
Only the center 4 are the GWS the rest are a breed called Chronic berry from a Spanish seed Co. The effect is a very head high and lasts for a long time, about 3-4 hours and when you get a hard on it won't go away :-). However I did try the GWS once when I visited Amsterdam and was blown away so that is a good reason to grow it with these LED's. All good, cheers bro, can't wait to have a vacation in the states ;-)

The states can be a fun place to visit, lots to see.
I have lived between the US and Mexico my entire life, I prefer Mexico. I am going back there for a few years again later
this year.

I never tried GWS, but I have tried a few GHS strains before, their WW, and The Church, and White Rhino. And Lemon Skunk.
All were pretty good. The LS was by far the best I tried from them. I have their Superbud and Pure Kush seeds on the way
right now, only because the price was right, and they're supposed to be big yielders. We'll see how good they are once they're
done...

Hey Kush. Have you had ur plants finish a lot faster under flowering led´s. As my current flowering lot are going very very fast, want ur opinion please

Well guys, as of 4th May all the clones have taken root, 4 or 5 went a bit droopy at first but they got there in the end.
all clones have taken 003.jpg
Just a little side note here too, the 500watt blackstars seem to be doing very well on flowering my current grow that was started with hps, I can't believe the speed of flowering, and because I have been used to HPS it feels a bit strange, although I'm not complaining ;-) all clones have taken 002.jpg
So anyway, I like the frosting on the cake :-)

Well guys it's been 7 days of veg since the last of the clones rooted but as you can see there is a lot of inter-nodal growth. You can also clearly see the one's that rooted first

Looks good! I've read through several of these Lighthouse Blackstar grows, lot of BS about why 500w of leds are only drawing 300w from a 110/120V wall socket, anyone powered the panel up with 220/240V and measured the amp draw? (Volts times Amps equals Watts)

Yeah I done it as I'm on 220v and its still 280w -300w each panel. watts divided by volts to get amps. So on a 220v circuit that would be 300 divided by220 = 1.36 amps. On 110v circuit it would be 300 divided by 110 = 2.72 amps. So its still 300 watts on both voltages.

However the efficiencies of 2011 led's is much better compared to 2009 led's, have a look at this link and you'll see what I mean http://www.youtube.com/user/gothamproducts#p/u/3/Uvn_Px_xCjg

Don't forget I am only vegging under the 240watt blackstar veg model, now that is only drawing 130watts, but it is amazing at vegging the plants, so in reality 1/3 of my grow is using a lot less electricity. So when I do my weigh in should I use Gramms/watts or grams/KW hours. Ooh this could start a whole new debate couldn't it.

Thanks for the info, imho these panels should have a long life since they're not being driven extremely hard...If we're ever going find out the most efficient way to grow herb indoors it would be with the grams/KW hours figures, but it seems we're stuck with generalities like grams/watts (that's dry, tightly trimmed nuggs/actual wattage used during late stage flowering.) Best, I'll be following along...

I'm gonna go along with your thoughts on this one an I'm still gonna publish entire kw used :-) and price of electric at 10 cents kwh ?

Anyone interested in the 500watt blackstar might be interested in these 3 pics. I was quite surprised but as they say, electricity used is going down as efficiency is going up, 2 of them are only using 560 watts, can't wait to get my new girls under these :-)

Hi all, sorry I've been so busy with lots of things I ain't really been on the net, well after some thought on other folks grows I've decided to absolutely maximize my small 4 x 5 garden's producing capabilities. I'm gonna be doing a sog grow instead of a scrog so, One half of the area under one light and then the other half 4 weeks later and then first half cut down and the next lot put in so I got a perpetual harvest every 4 weeks. Obviously the 3rd lot's not getting included in the weigh in as this is just to see what can be grown in ONE complete cycle. The current girls have now been vegged for 18 days and now under 12/12 for 7 days on one side using only one of the blackstars. Just planted the next lot of clones,,,, trying to get my moneys worth !!

Well guys here are the girls 14 days of 12/12 flowering. They seem healthy and flowering nicely, looking forward to 3weeks time when I get the other half of the grow in as I think the overspill from the other blackstar will only do good

lookin good max, how much have they stretched since the switch?
Hi there, thanks, these are Great white shark and they are at about 18" tall so when I put them on 12/12 they were at about 12" tall which is about right for this strain, just thought I would go for the SOG instead of scrog as my mother plant is throwing off loads of growth so I have an abundance of cuttings. I just hope that I am optimizing my grow space, fingers crossed. Peace man ;-)
