LED Grow Setup Need Help!

i just had a few things to ask....

1: i use top soil premium should i mix 50% virmiculite or should i use 50% perlite when i say 50% i ment like 50 soil 50 whatever... to help drainage :)

2: i'm using an LED setup 168 LEDS blue for now... and will induce red in about a month or so.... does anybody know how high it should be set on top?
i was thinking 12" away... some places say 1 inch some say 2 feet...

and do you suggest anything? humidity is always 50/55% i can drop it to 40/35 if i want but choose not to till budding temp is around 70% with my old CFL's it would jump to 75/78

closet setup btw.. but i check up on it 2/4 times a day for air to move... oh btw im doing this for a friend... not my place, his i'm doing it only because well it's sorda like a hobby LOL this shit is addicting!

hmm.. would i be ok with just the 1/2 soil and 1/2 perlite?

oh and when should i use the RED led? give or take? i got the blue for now... i was thinking 2 months blue.. 1 month red and blue? or just read turn off blue?

ok so it's ok for me to go 168 LED all BLUE no need to give it any other light spectrum.... till it's the size i want or the time.. aka 2 month min... then give it full red spectrum only... till it's time to harvest.... no need to use both?

cuz of the red spectrum? or due to other things?... and why is the light so close? i heard after looking shit up that 1 foot is what it should be... till the plants grow and as they grow dont adjust light till it's like 2 inches away then re-raise.. which i know doesent make sense i will just make it 1 foot away..

but again why is it dieing?

is that why his is dieing? i got a blue one shaman so i should be fine till i start to bud :X then i get a red one.. oh and one more thing... my leaf has turned yellow.. only 1 and only the tip.. reason for this is because i burned it :\ by mistake.. should i cut it off? the yellow part or leave it alone?

thx man, now i gotta go to my friends house and do all this.. i'll just leave it alone it's sorda like a battle scar to me lol... or her :"X i hope anyways!!

most important thing i really would like to ask you and everyone else... why the hell is it growing so slow? i check in every day or two on it... when i come over and the temp is is around 75/78 drops down to 70 when lights are off... humidity is around 50/55% never under or over.. unless he turns on his dehumidifier which he does not. it's a bag seed found outside in a car could of have been damaged and thats why it's growing so slow? or what? i mean it's been 12 days and it's got a total of 4 leaves.. (small) and two baby leaves under it.. very small stem btw.. never stretched..

I suggest take a pic now and a nother one in a few days and ask your self if you see any new growth

Dude I have 12 grow bars which I was using 4 for veg. Most of mine stretched and were growing super slow. So I decided to change to daylight cfl's for veg and am going to put all 12 led grow bars in the flower chamber. I am hoping the overly red spectrum they put out will work out perfect for flowering. If not then the next grow will get an hps. I got a room air conditioner so heat is no longer an issue. However I have all these bars so I will give it a shot. Just trying to fine tune my grow setup ya know.
