I cant say that its a fact, but my months of research have led me to believe that with the right LED configuration resin production and overall product quality can be achieved over conventional lighting. It may be that yields, under otherwise comparable conditions, tend to be lower than HID, but the bud will be frostier. I also believe that the addition of UV light can help to achieve this same effect. And as I'm sure you have noticed from the specs of the light you are now running you have added some UV to the mix. Again, I dont want to put it out there that these things are true, its just what my months of research have led me to believe. I also think that my addition of halogen has been beneficial due to its high "red" output and infra-red (something you are also running a little of on that LED). It also happens that I have no heat running to the grow room and running a 150 watt halogen and getting some light out of it makes more sense to me than running a 1000 or 750 watt space heater during on cycles, as I would have to do otherwise. It warms the room to just the temp needed. It may be against conventional wisdom that a halogen is a good grow light, but I have never given a rat's ass about conventional wisdom, I just want what works best. Plus, it was free just laying around the house. It was my first addition after flouros-- and when I put it in the plants woke right up and started growing. I think they like the mix of light they are getting now and the buds are dense, unlike what some experts say about LED lighting.
