Led help

Are you in the us or canada? Four of these would be a good bet:

Use RIU10 as 10% discount voucher. And remember you may need to relearn some growing, leds need slightly different environment, basicly you need to keep temps at 81-84F. Also learn A bit about vapour pressure deficit in order to understand transpiration better. All this due to not being a hot light like HPS. Don't try to keep your grow cold as this will diminish yields. Once you get how to grow with leds it will produce but sooooo many HPS growers just don't wanna take good advice re led growing and end up with losing yield due to missing transpiration/drinking and low temps=low metabolism.

The basic thing to get is that now you will be working trying to keep temps over a minimum, rather than keeping temps under a maximum with HPS.

There are many cheaper ways to go but you said no budget. This company makes the highest speced lights and back their product solidly.

Wow that's actually the first time I hear this about the temperature and kinda relearning. Thanx. Usa. Got any good links that I can read up on. Or YouTube vids I should look at. Would deeply be appreciated.

I'm not sure where to start you off really.
@Moffa123 and @1212ham are usually good at keeping stuff bookmarked and linked. Maybe @OSBuds as well.

The basic thing is that you need to keep the temps higher due to canopy being a few degrees lower than ambient (in case of HPS canopy is a lot hotter than ambient), especially in high intensity conditions.
And that you need a fair bit of control over RH cause this will help you control the transpiration and how much your plants are drinking.

If you can afford (and they are available) this would be very good addition:

Both for added potency but also for plant health: UV and blues drive stomata aperture which means extra transpiration which seems to solve some issues that people have with leds (sufficient absorption of cal and mg).

Another great light is:
This light is also super efficient but comes with a spectrum which already have added uv and reds. Not sure if they have a us distributor.

Both these companies are actually sponsors on this forum.

Loving this. I never even had a clue that it impacted differently.
There are many of these tables kicking around online, this is my fav:

This table will let you adjust for canopy temps which means it will work out vpd both for HPS and leds. The other ones are generally either for one type of light or another.

Have a extra room. 10x 10 feet want to put in some led. Doing sea of green method. Nft. What led would be good. Suggestions?
You need about 1200 actual watts of draw to maximize your yield in that space, depending on the desired height so youll probably want to get some kind of light or lights with a “rail” orientation. Since youre doing sog, i assume your vertical height is not going to be a standard 8 ft of most rooms. Two Philizon fd5000’s or two spiderfarmer SE 7000’s would do it. Theres other technology thats cheaper but those would be less of a gamble… have fun
