LED help

Hey,

I need help, I'm going insane with reading reviews, threads on here and other related stuff. I'm going to DIY my own grow box, it'll be most likely be 2x2 or 2.5x2.5 and height would be 5' or 6', everything will be covered in reflective material and proper ventilation.

I want to be able to fit 4-6 plants in there comfortably'ish in either 3 gallon or 5 gallon fabric pots, I just need the right lights to cover each plant equally, it's 100w per plant, right? Will eventually try out ScrOG.

I was thinking about Black dog LED or Cirrus LED, but most I've read about those gets shit on for the price and keep advising to go DIY instead with COB lights.

Money isn't really an issue but less is better of course and I don't really mind taking a shot at DIY lights but I need more advise on that, can you have COB's that work well for both stages, veg and flower?

This is for personal use, but I still want it to be best quality equipment and environment for the plants. I'm from Europe if that matters.

I have a rapidled diy kit ( Vero 29 ) for my 3x3 and it kicks ass. Really happy with it. I bought the 3000k chips and they work well for both veg and flower.

Thank you for the reply, Chef. I looked at their site and checked out the 2x2 Horticulture kits.CXB3590, 3500K lights, most I've read I see them mentioned the often. Do you know how the LED driver option matters? How are your yields with your setup?

have a look for 135w quantum board kit. For 2x2 space.

Simple, efficient and good value.

Lighting is worked out on watts per square foot rather than per plant, as plants can be tiny or huge.

HPS 50w per square foot.
High efficiency LED 30w per square foot.

Edit, I just noticed the bit where you said Europe. Try DIYledUK
