Fuck I just took over this thread with China LED lights and they work, so stop hating and learn how to grow.

Who has grown Liberty Haze? I got some fem seeds and wanted to know how it does.
I have, several times, and I'm currently growing another one. Not a big yielder, but very potent...one of my favorites so far.
Here's a pic of Liberty Haze and a cat hair grown under a Black Dog LED(pre harvest pics):

Here's Liberty Haze grown under 2700K, 3000K, and 5000K CREE cobs (gave it about a week more before harvest):

They both look pretty good to me, but the Black Dog buds were fluffier than the whites. Also, with better temperatures in my tent, I was able to bring out the colors better under the cobs.

this is from my accident that almost killed me. My hospital bill was over $500,000. Broke neck broken jaw and brain damage after getting rear ended at 70 mph.
Damn man, my heart goes out to you. Been goin' through crazy hospital stuff with my wife after her amputation a few years ago (complications from childhood cancer), it's a fuckin crime how fast those medical bills add up, makes you wish you lived in Norway or some shit. Anyways, at least you're growin' the best kinda medicine!

$600 each no yield report yet due to a terrible car accident 3-4-2014. I am a commercial grower (20+ lbs on 10 1k lights) You don't have to believe me I'll show you with pics.
I have homies in Washington growing commercially to supply the whole state...im just wanting to setup a led system powered by solar so my only cost is supplies.Running veg under 1k mh and flower 4 hps.electric bill per month is $600!!!! DOH!!!

it's not a quantitative comparison, but i don't have the resources or care enough to "prove" anything. the dude asked about liberty haze and since we're talking about secret sauce and cheap chinese lights, I wanted to mention the difference.

I just wanna say any one bashing china products
I don't bash Chinese lights. I often recommend Mars or VIPAR to those unwilling to spend on better lights like Area51, Hans, Rapid/Onyz, DIY COB. But, there's no denying the epi-whatever chips used in Chinese lights are of unknown quality, definitely lessor quality. I don't think you can find spec sheets for the diodes used in Chinese lights, if they even have a concept of "bins," or if they present a spectral power diagram to be expected from a particular diode.

That doesn't mean they're bad lights. For the money they're pretty good, IMO. *If* you accept the tradeoff (lower up-front cost for lower yeilds, shorter lifespan, offshore warranty support.).

Sometimes it seems like pro- and anti- sides talk past each other. I try to see both sides. I have an Apollo 4 with custom spectrum (mimicking Grow Northern's Rebel spectrum). It grows well. I have three Area 51s, they grow better. The former cost $1.40 per watt delivered. The later was $3 per watt. Just a matter of a longer-term investment for larger yields (and better warranty support, upgrade path, etc.).

Everyone has different priorities. Someone may prefer putting less money at risk. They may not be looking for maximum (1.2g/w) yields. Nothing wrong with that.

look at 60% of what u use everyday it was made in china assembled in the us.
Not all Chinese products are made the same way. There are factories or product lines with higher specification/tolerances than the "cartel" commoditized lights (the same fixture and diodes under 1000 different names). The term "chinese light" is intended to describe the latter.

And as far as mars hydro leds are crap I pulled over 170g on autos I burned up early and only had 185w actual draw led and 100w cfl so they kno wat their doin plus I have a journal on Gc look for jaymu104
I can't hardly parse that sentence, but 185w actual LED plus 100w actual CFI is 285w to grow 170g. That's 0.6g per watt. I know some growers are happy to get yields like that. They look good in pictures, etc. But, you can get 1.2g/w with more efficient lights. Sure, it will cost twice as much. But, if you got 340g and sold the additional for $4 per g, that's $680 -- enough to pay for the light.

Doesn't mean you shouldn't be happy with 170g. I think what set everyone off was realstylze coming on all gangsta-like, gonna produce a pound from candlelight.

He keeps saying he grew for a dispensary. To me, that's not a big resume point. Dispensaries around here sell stuff that's mediocre. I'd smoke it, but it's hardly "medicinal" or dank. Just ordinary. Certainly not grown by the "plant whisperer" in the back room.
