They pull 1500 watts each and I will have 4-5 around the house. I have not yet had the utility company come by and ask why I just jumped up 6000 watts.

You are totally right.. A watt is a watt... But you don't need 1000 LED watts to get the same results as 1000 HPS watts. About 600watts of quality LEDs can easily replicate a 1000w hps. Uses 400watts less plus LEDs put out way less heat, so no waste on cooling either. I was just saying it's easier to be under the radar with LEDs.

WAIT...you're saying that in the winter when your power bill goes up cause of the heaters (at the same time as all of your neighbors) the utility company isn't suspicious.. Oh that's weird... Oh no it's not..

In your vast experiences, how many people do you know personally that uses 4-5 oil-filled heaters in winter?
Everyone out in my area uses propane gas in tanks. I caught the company cheating the shit out of me so told them to come get their tank and fuck off. My neighbors all still have propane gas tanks, so uh yeah.... their utility bills drop to next to nothing in the winter, and mine spikes.

Also, like it has been talked about 1000s of times, it would take a MASSIVE spike in watts used to attract a utility company.

My resin production has varied by the strain, of which I grew a few this go. I cannot compare what they would have been with HPS because these were new strains for me. I noticed stress when I first got the lights and had them too close. My girls like the light about 20 inches away any closer and they get very unhappy looking.
I also had to adjust my watering at least until they were larger and in full flower, and I still find it is not needed as often.
