yes molasses is the shit... even more so in an all organic set up.

I hear bud candy is a rippoff, you can buy unsulphured blackstrap molasses instead.

I use molasses, and my GF tells me that the plants I have over fed it to have a sweeter taste than the ones I haven't fed it to or just gave it once in awhile. it's cheaper than Bud Candy or Big Bud.

Thanks guys. You know me, I don't look shit up until I'm ready to use it... And since the next grow is ramping up I've been thinking more and more about additives and supplements and I just don't know what is worth it and what isn't. I hear very good things about Bud Candy... Even from people that hate the AN lineup... But if I can use molasses instead then I will. Shit, I have some in the house right now. I always do...

yes thats good! Personally I dont measure but I think I usually use a little less than a tbsp per gallon in my 5 gallons bucket but I use it often (you can find a ton of info on molasse on RIU, and you are correct with 1tbsp per gallon, I think its the standard dosage)

Yes, exactly what I use and you got the right dosage rate 1 tbsp per gallon. Make sure you you use it all, don't mix and let it sit as it will ferment quickly.

unknown, You growing in coco? You have probably mentioned it but I don't remember if you did... Also, What is your opinion of big bud?.

yes, i use just plain Canna Coco Professional Plus, no perlite, have tried other coco, but the canna seems higher quality. The big bud seems ok, there is a definite thickening of the buds. I going to probably try Bloombastic next, as it contains PK 13/14. The other flowering boosters I have been looking at is the Dr. Hornby's Big Bud & overdrive combo, which i've seen people seem to like.

Canna coco is all I use. I'm sure there are some other good brands out there, but canna seems to be of the finest grade. A few grows back I tried out botanicare's coco because I didn't want to drive an extra 10 minutes and pay $5 more for canna and I had the worst infestation of gnats ever. Lesson learned.

I hear really good things about bloombastic. I'll definitely be interested to hear about your experience with it.right now I'm using the entire canna line, plus a bit of silica blast, calmag, and great white. In a week or so il start with the moab. I'm pretty happy with the results so far.

Thanks for the insight, guys. I'm ramping up for my next grow and just trying to plan ahead a bit. I really went basic on my first grow just using grow & bloom nutrients along with some cal-mag but this time around I'd like to try a few additives/supplements as long as they are worth it and actually yield results that I can see/smell/feel/whatever. I've heard real good things regarding the bud candy/big bud which is why I was asking. The more I read on it the more I realize I can just go with molasses regarding that... But I'm interested to heard more regarding the rhizo, silica blast, bloombastic & moab as next grow I plan on going coco. I'll be picking both your brains in the upcoming months... heh.

Well my phone died last night.... That was my camera as well. I had been in the market for a new camera but I guess that will have to take a backseat as I have to drop a couple hundred on a new phone instead. Hooray 5MP pictures... lol Let's all hope it arrives before Sunday so i don't get disqualified for no updates. heh.

Also, Had to chop Bagseed #3, The one i took out of the competition and repotted. It had some sort of disease any no one could seem to figure it out and I couldn't find anything online. I didn't want to take a chance infecting my other girls...

GH has been good to me so far. I use the FloraDuo, but I don't think It's too much different. You going with the Lucas formula?

No, I got gallon jugs of the 3 part flora grow, micro, bloom. Got it for the Blues when I did the tote grow.

I just bought biothrive... I thought it was organic when I bought it. paid 20$ and it seems like decent stuff none the less. will be using it on my outdoor lady coze she is running out of food in the 10 gallons. she is looking pretty nice for my first outdoor! She is not in my yard so I can't baby her. It will be good to give her some food, will be using that same shit on my party cups! It was too hard to go strictly with compost teas coze I dont know what I am doing and I can't tell whether I am over doing it or not. I will probably just use biothrive for the rest and see hot it goes.

I can understand that, thought I had the Fox Farm stuff down but it was to strong even at a quarter for the cups. I flushed with straight pH 6 water till monday and went with my GH stuff and within a couple days they just blew up and got lush and green again and the buds just exploded. I have a Secret Garden also just a couple plants that I cloned to see if I could clone, one is budding for a month now and stinks like crazy.
