also what are ur LEDs compared to, spectrum, lumens etc.??

The panels use a different type of bulb called "dip" which is like x-mas tree bulbs- the UFO LEDs and newer fixtures use bulbs with "smd" chip technology.
The smd chips have higher watts and give off more lumens. (I do a fair amount of LED research lol)
From what Ive read, the panels have 400 Lum, my 50w UFO has 2,400 Lum, & the 90w has 3,800 Lum.
I will be taking clones and using LED, thinking of upgrading from my 90w+50w to just 1x 120w LED fixture.
So far, my veg plants have exceeded my expectations with the LED.

lol not much a comparison but i get the drift, and ya i stopped buying stuff from that store they are fuckin retarded, the guy who ran the one i went to is a narc too im told. he was a douche n e ways, not helpful WHAT so ever, pisses me off but i figure around $80 from somwhere else online judging that urs was $150 i just went to that store specifically becuz the guy i got my equipment from would purchase the nutrients line they sold, which i did aswell, its cheap so w/e.. n e ways thanx for the replies, i'll take sometime and checkout some more info on them.

ahh thanks for the explanation on aeroponics. That was my first guess that it is either sprayed or misted or something. I believe the ideal pH for hydro which I imagine would be in the same ball park as aeroponics is 5.8.... Thats atleast what I have read in several posts, not sure whether or not you have done some personal experiments and what not but i hope this helps

is your flower tent the O.G tent setup? That's the only one I see that is 300w

My setup was customized, so Im not sure if they have a setup like mine on the site. I told them how much I want to harvest and how often and they built the specs around that, so hit them up if you know what kind of results you want but aren't sure of the exact gear you'll need to pull it off.

UPDATE
Removed 90w LED & put the 50w on top to let them stretch more so I can clone. They seem a little too bushy to clone today, I think the light was too close and the plants were becoming too lazy to stretch. They are just geting super bush undergrowth.
Will be taking clones soon & testing 1 clone of ea. strain to check for male or female. I plan on keeping 1 of each clone to use as a mother and using the current plants to flower, and Ill also veg 1-2 batches of clones form this round to put into flower next month, thus attempting to start the perpetual system!

hey man so this is the site i guess the store i got my grow panel from gets theres from www.glow-panel.com it reroutes to "sunshine systems" or something which is the manufacturer.. they have ur 90 watt UFO but its 379.99 lmao i take it u live in the states? now of course im sure u can find it somwhere cheaper still, but $150? i think thats an american price i dono. but mine is the "glow-panel 45" check it out

The site in my signature (where I got all my gear) has lights and grow gear cheaper than most. That site you posted on my thread is a rip-off (no offense).

ya def. is thanx. ive now found a really reliable/helpful grow store, they will order from n e where for me with not extra costs etc. so i will def. be checking that site next time i need something, respects

VEG DAY 24

Clones taken today: 4 per strain. Clones were very small but necessary to stay on schedule. Under 24 hrs light & spray under the 90w UFO & new aero system.
Most plants took the cuts ok except the SLH, which was drooping a little. Purpling on the Jamaican Grape has seemingly gone down some since I lowered the temps and stabilized it to 77F. Still, there are beautiful purple hues on all of its stems and undersides of leaves.
You can see the clones are temporarily in the large tent which will be used for flowering in a few weeks, it has 2 clear viewing windows.

VEG DAY 31

Flowering starts tomorrow + Ill be cloning each plant one more time
Hopefully some new strains will go into the system in a few weeks.
Thinking of trying some TGA subcool strains.

@KingIV20: thanks again, I checked out your 600w LED grow and damn your girls look sweet. I'm going to put some T5s around the edge of my garden (200-300w worth) and I hope that will help with denser nug development, I was reading how your buds directly under the LED did better than the outter edge, so we'll see if T5s can supplement that. Plus Ill be using a LED that has UV spectrum, I'm hoping this is an improvement that will become the new standard.

Moved plants into flowering tent until the new lights arrive - will continue to veg in the meantime:

Took new clones, first batch was taken too early
Using 3x 14w LED panels for the veg tent, once new lights come, will add the 50w UFO to this tent

so what's the new light? Those subcool strains look legit did you end up going through them for some?

Day 6 - Flowering

New Flowering Light: 250w LED - 20,000 Lum - 3w per bulb - UV Spectrum for increased resin production
450 watts total in flowering tent (100w t5 + 100w t5 + 250w LED)

Moved 50w UFO to clone/veg tent
