Sorry, haven't tried anything from hydroponicshut. I've done research on their pro-grow series and they are giving people positive results. I like how you can switch spectrums by hitting a switch. I think if I were to buy another panel I might consider theirs for that reason. I'm also intrigued by that 50w plasma bulb they have as supplemental lighting...future experimental grow?....quite possibly later on this year I might do a lil testing
I like your list. mine is very similar. I'd add hydroponicshut in there as possible alternatives as well as advancedled (i use these) and black dog, and I've heard good things about stealthgrow.
I am currently using their 550W unit, here is the thread to it in use, so far it looks alright but still at least 4 weeks away from ready.
Looks good, the kind of set up I'd have gone for (two 290s in an appropriately sized tent). How old were they at flip? My plants had been showing preflowers for 3weeks before I flipped and they were definitely flowering after 3 days of 12/12 with my 395w GLH in a 2.5x2.5x6 tent (dear god so much light...). What size is that tent?
I am finishing up my 3rd LED grow. My system is about 1000 W and draws about 650W while covering a 4 x 6' area. It consists of 1 Hydroponics hut 180, 1 generic 300W chinese panel, 2 Blackstar 240 vegg models and 2 H150 Magenta kessils. Have 1 more week till harvest. Here are some pics.

So Mike sent me a new lite....yeah! I really hope it was just a technical thing, he said he was going to use my old one for a test grow. He did say 2 other people had exact problems & he already was testing their lites. Just got it today & just germed 3 Jock & 2 hindu kush. Going to vegg under T5' for 2 weeks & then flower under the led. Thanx for the earlier responses.
No reason to use more electricity than you need to I suspect. That and I had an issue with my seedlings going straight to the LED, they grew more nodes than HPS but were half the size/height they should have been after a month. Keeping my seedlings under CFL for 4-8 days before LED at 2ft does the trick though (at least for me and my 395w, it gives them a chance to grow 'energy' leaves before growing tons of nodes that must grow slowly because of how many other new nodes are being pushed out)
I haven't seen or heard about secondary reflecting lens thingies on LED lights yet, so that is neat.
why hasnt anyone learned? hydro grow LED is run by a scam artist. stop buying his/her shit.
