I know they have a bad history, but is there any reason to believe the secondary lens thing is bullshit?

im not saying it is or isnt. What im saying is would you trust someone who has a history of scamming people with hard evidence against them? Also, that blog its self is written by Cammie @ HGL her self, so HELL no i wouldnt trust it.

Umm yea i just got banned for starting an x lense thread at B*********** forum. I was jus tryin to get some info on them and i guess they werent having that. Guess this is my new home and idn i c potential in the x lenses

yeah HGL has tried to re-infiltrate forums many times under different names. I would not be surprised if the penetrator grow journal on this forum is her. She has in the past posed as different people, and hell has even changed her gender. Lots of forums will insta ban you if you even mention her company name because they dont want to risk her creeping back in.

I am absolutely sold on using led's. The hid users can keep their heat. My temps stay around 80F with a a 6" fan circulating the air in the tent. My buddy has a 400w hps and just put a ton of money into ventilating the room he is using and is still fighting high temps haha. I'm using a hydroponic's hut Pro-Grow 180 and love it! Why would she mention other companies in said blog if trying to promote her own merchandise?
Because she has learned (the hard way) that non-stop bashing of the competition wasn't winning anybody over.
We've all been through her nonsense before on other forums in the past, this is what she does.
As for the X-Lens technology, it's nothing new.
There was company sponsoring over at 4*0Ma*azine.co* last year that introduced these lenses.
From the various growers who bought that LED light I heard nothing positive about it.
Although I do believe the next big break through in LED technology will probably have to do with some sort of lenses, this isn't it.

appreciate it but that place was so fake. half the ppl there worked thier posing to be growers. wat ever i really dont care wat he/she did and was still gona try them out but after coming here and seing some vertical grows i might just do that till i here some feedback from them. U never know tho, those light can be somthing serious, but im thinking bout jus holding off to buy them. at least till they come out... no pre orders from me every 1 does got me thinking

The overly-kindness over there couldn't seem more fake. It isn't so bad over here. No one place is perfect though.
What attracted me to that site was the LED friendly environment. This site isn't very LED friendly at all, but is getting better.
The popular saying I keep seeing everywhere, "LEDs just aren't there yet", "LED technology just isn't there yet", "I do believe the LEDs are the future, but they just aren't there yet." Sounds like a broken record.
I guess everyone in entitled to their own opinion... It's up to the reader to believe what they want.

I'm starting to hear a lot of bad thing about 'her'. The first of it just a few days ago on another forum I'm on.
I never heard or HGL up until about a month or 2 ago. I use Blackstar and HTG LEDs. Considering getting a 4th panel, either a Blackdog, or a GLH.
I wont be buying any HGLs anytime soon, at least not directly from her. Maybe if another place has them...

I will follow a grow if you choose to do one, I have been wondering about these. I have a 550W and want to add to it. I was thinking the 600W. Please keep us informed of your progress.

I would highly (ha-ha) recommend going with the Spectra or Blackdog models over any HGL lights.
Even if it's not bought directly though HGL, the quality and durability of the lights are highly (ha-ha) questionable.
It's your money and you should spend it as you please, I just hate to see people get burned on high (ha-ha) priced items like this.
So I try to warn as many growers as I can when it comes to HGL's business practices and poor customer reviews.
I was formerly a therapist, I have met Cammie in person, and she has some very serious issues.
She is one of the more shady individuals I've met in life, and she's constantly on the defensive (usually without provocation).
Some would argue "that's just her personality", but its not, it's the signs of a seriously troubled mind trying to deal with a very guilty conscious.
Beware folks, beware.
