I'd be really interested to see what you could accomplish with a nice panel! Not sure how well your 12/12 from seed would work with LED as they might not grow enough vertically, but your definitely someone I would wanna see do a comparison grow.

Crap, I wanted to ask how big your Carbon filter is? I ordered one from Gotham recently and have it installed but I think the thing is over kill for my 48"x24" tent and it looks like yours is much shorter. I had to install mine vertical on the ground in the corner to not take up my grow height but it is working great and not a trace of smell or any temp problems.

hello mate , cheers for the faith, im willing to consider giving this a try, how much are these panels, ive looked around a little and there seem to be loads of different types and prices........what would i need to run a test against either a 400 or 600 dual spec hps? would need to be able to do veg and bloom.

Del look up Grumpy Old Dramer...he does mini scrogs with Kessil (sp?) leds and the little grows are quite impressive if you are serious about you interest seems a good option to look at....just not my thing to grow lil plants so this kinda of money for a grow method I will never employ makes these lights not worth it for me to bother....hope it helps my friend...and am always impressed by your grows my friend...what you get in 12/12 is amazing

Haha, while Kessils look to be nice for small grows, del would need a dozen or so to replace that 600 and would not be worth it at all. del look into the Blackstar or GLH panels, both have higher wattage options that could be viable replacements for your lights. Only thing is they're really pricey once you're up to those sizes.

I have read nothing useful you have posted in this thread, but you just can't help but come back and add some other hating remark against all of us "fools"(your term not mine) who use leds. I don't know what kind of war I stumbled upon but don't get me in the crossfire....
I plan on going full LED after the grow I'm working on gets capitol going for it. It's got a couple of months before that happens but when it does I think we are going to go with the guru's and replace everything we have now with the actual watt equivalent in LED. I won't change anything else in my garden (including strain) to get a good side by side comparo. I could care less about the electricity usage, I'm more concerned with the temperature benefits and not having to replace bulbs.

Only reason I ask is cause I gotta 4x2x5 from them and it said it was suppose to have more parts on the instructions but the tent went together fine. People can say what they want bout leds but my buds are way frostier under led id rather have quality over quantity anyday.

Nope I got mine from Amazon with the same dimensions, I wish I would have gotten the 4x4 though because of the higher roof. I like my tent but it was a challenge to fit my fan and carbon filter in there. I ended up putting the filter and fan running vertical in the back corner of the tent from the ground up so I didn't kill any more height from my grow. I'll take a pic of the setup today.

I got the fan and filter as a combo set I think from htg supply I wanna say the filter is about 16 inches long. The fan is a 6". I think I might want to get a bigger one because I can still get a whiff of bud when im outside but its not over powering or anything but defiently can smell a hint of it but I have no close neighbors but then again I dont want people to get suspisous that might come over. even though I an 100% legal in my state I don't want anyone finding out whats going on.

It does not matter to me if your comment was directed at me. Use your ignore button loser. You have a history of bashing LED's over and over. Example thread- "LEDs Anyone? Advise Please" post numbers 20 and 24. from march of this year. and i quote "anyone who uses leds is a fool" I will continue to call you out for the useless troll you are whether you ignore me or not,for my general pleasure if nothing else.
